Connection

It was early in the morning, about 8AM, Jungkook was basically still dead to the world, laying on his back, snoozing away, cuddled against his two hybrids on their comfortable king sized bed when one of his hybrids, almost aggresively, shook him awake informing him that his phone has been ringing since forever– okay that was clearly an exaggeration but you get the gist.

Answering the call without checking the caller ID, he was so ready to burst the ears off of whoever was on the other line when a very familiar voice belonging to his Jimin hyung resonated from the other end.

"Get your ass up and come with me. I'm gonna adopt a hybrid." What a great way to greet him a good morning, right?

"Good morning to you too, hyung. My sleep was great, kept warm by my hybrids, thanks for asking, though it could've been better if it had been extended until I don't know, maybe 10AM and NOT 8AM IN A FREAKING SATURDAY? "

Hearing the man on the other end sigh, Jungkook slowly sat up to get out of bed, careful as to not wake up his hybrids who fell asleep cuddled against each other shortly after shaking his entire soul.

" Okay, sorry. Good morning, Jungkookie. How was your sleep? It must be nice to have hybrids that keeps you warm at night. Get up now and come with me to a hybrid adoption center." Jimin deadpanned making Jungkook shake his head as he got up from bed, stretching his limbs for a bit before walking towards his walk in closet to pick out an outfit for him to wear. In the end he chose a simple D.Prique oversized layered black t-shirt, a tri-pocket strap black cargo pants, and a pair of black air max goadome for shoes. He doesn't love black, really, he doesn't.

" You know adopting a hybrid doesn't just mean, you adopt the first one you find pretty, right? You have to have a connection with one, almost like a bonding type of thing. "

" I know and that's why since you're the one who suggested and basically drilled the idea of me adopting a hybrid, you're the one to suffer going around town, hopping from one hybrid center to another with me on a Saturday. Isn't that fun? You get to spend time with your favorite hyung!"

Even though Jungkook couldn't really see him, he can already imagine the sarcastic smile on his hyung's face.

"Alright. I know a few hybrid centers near your company, we can start from there. I'll get ready first, I'll just meet you there in an hour." Jungkook hung up as soon as he heard his hyung agree.

Walking towards the bed, he leaned down to place a soft kiss on both his hybrids' forehead, careful not to wake them before walking towards the bathroom to take a quick shower.

"Do you even have any idea on what breed you're going to adopt, hyung?" Jungkook ask as he gave a slight glance at his best friend, dressed in a black Chanel logo pocket sweater, black skinny jeans, sequin embellished velvet bomber jacket, and some army boots, sitting on the passenger seat of his Mercedes Benz before focusing his eyes back on the road.

"I don't know, I've just been looking around, observing if I feel any connection with any of the hybrids, doesn't really matter what breed. Besides, aren't you the one who said that adopting a hybrid is not just about adopting the first pretty hybrid that I find, why are you asking me what breed I'm planning to adopt now?" Jimin ask as he turned towards his best friend.

" Yeah but how would I know, you may have already decided on what breed you're planning to adopt so you're judgement about adopting one might be overshadowed with your desire for a certain breed that's why it's taking you such a long time to pick one."
