XXXIII. RAY IS GOING TO HELL

14 4 1

The lavender acid empyrean waits
For marigold's warm and gentle embrace
Warriors honeyed in lucid armour
Strode to the faint fountains in the corner

Kayes, the soldier pure as the driven snow
Sipped pétillant white wine with his head hung low
Ray, the broken tainted criminal elf
Peered through the orchard as the clock struck twelve

Little did the other pink dwellers know
Kayes was the one who killed little Romeo
But the innocent moody elf called Ray
Was the one to be blamed the other day

A symposium was held at Braham's Hall
No angels nor devils were on duty
Ray decided 'twas time for Kayes to fall
And planned his scheme in prison sipping tea

Ray stole keys from a dense guard earlier
And snuck into the hall with a disguise
Then from the ceiling fell a chandelier
Time for them to go home and rest their eyes

Poor virtuous Kayes was too drunk to sleep
Grandiose Ray took his opportunity
He dug the ground about seven feet deep
To avenge Kayes for his impunity

And so demure Kayes was hit in the face
By no one but the mischievous boy, Ray
Poor Kayes fell in his own grave with no grace
While Ray fled to enjoy what's left of Friday

The sweet benevolent boy was now dead
But sadly someone saw Ray from the window of his bed
