Your parents would not permit the resources needed to hunt down the brotherhood and put an end to their reign of terror they thought it would be better to fortify the planets defences instead

Jim thought about it for a moment and then spoke without thinking: sounds like a good idea to me

Varvatos Took offence that and slammed his feet against the ground in raged: what could possibly be good about letting those evil dealers still looks Varvatos would of crushed them as they beg for their lives and made sure that they die without glory or honour

Jim realising how he sounded before rephrased: Know what I mean is is the King it was very smart to fortify the planets defences I mean no offence Varvatos but even if you did defeat the brotherhood and avenge your family that wouldn't stop a tragedy like this from happening again

Varvatos still confused and angry at the comment: what are you talking about Varvatos would of ripped off the brotherhood limbs and beaten to death with their own body parts they would never be able to do something like this again

Jim realised he was have to be as blunt as possible: I don't doubt that but think about it if the brotherhood could've done this was to say that someone else could've done it that's for the King meant fortified the defences to stop a tragedy like this from ever happening again and because even if you killed them there is no guarantee to say that a new gang even worse than the brotherhood would come along and do something even worse to your home planet

Krel recalled the incident with Mr Glass: Oh it's like when you defeated the plague doctor it inspired some others to rise up like Mr Glass who could be even worse than the plague doctor

Jim agreed: Exactly what your dad did was the best choice he could do from your home

The two Royals agreed with their Trollhunter friend however Varvatos was a different story you could see James perspective but he still viewed the Kings logic is flawed. The mothership then deactivated the hollow freeze frame and everything returned back to the mothership monitoring room

Jim: yes I do do that for justice but what you wantIsn't justice it's a vengeance and I don't do that I let the lady justice decide what to do with the criminals I am not judge jury and executioner

Jim thinks about it for a moment and then explains to the best of his abilities: Well I don't really have a good answer for that but I suppose one might say justice is blind because then she cannot see discrimination between people it does not matter if someone is royalty or just normal everyone deserves to be brought to justice and justice should always be fair that's why Lady Justice is blind
