Introductions (this is a chapter)

Hello everyone this is another one of my spinoff chapters it won't be as long as my previous ones generally because the plague doctor is going to be appearing multiple times and I just want Jim and him to be introduced to each other so don't expect much from this chapter so I do hope you enjoy.

Claire point of view

It's been a week since what was supposed to be the claim but instead was nearly the end of the world, everyone was asking me questions about the Demon of Arcadia mainly Mary who wanted to personally thank the hero. .Also the police who deemed his actions as a vigilante and then put him in danger others of course I went with the story that Toby gave me I also said that I didn't really get a good look at the Demon not to mention he was wearing a mask which again wasn't a complete and total lie but I wasn't gonna let Jim be arrested for saving my life and quite frankly the world.

Mary asking questions about my encounter: so what exactly kind of city where was it like a Spider-Man one when it was all a spandex

I roll my eyes ever since Mary and Darcy got here all they wanted to hear about was my rescue: no he wore all armour his helmet was even made out of it was in blue covered up most of all of his face

Darci: I still can't believe it is supposed vigilante of Arcadia is real just doesn't make any sense at town this small doesn't get vigilante hell we barely even get crimes

Mary argued: hey don't knock it until you try it girl that I got the person that assaulted me in prison not to mention possibly stopped the brutal murderer that happened down in the alleyway along with saving our best friend please don't turn into your dad on this subject

Oh yeah Darcy's dad detective Scott made his personal mission to hunt down the vigilante menace as he put it saying that the Diemond hurts more people than he helps I can't really say that I could agree with that not just because Jim saved my life because Jim only technically appeared twice in the public eye

It's still so hard to believe though one that Jim is a superpower being that is capable of hearing literally anything within a couple of miles of him in he could  even tell when someone's lying and his athletic ability is amazing. Of course that's not the biggest shocker I've had recently though it is a close second is the fact that the monsters are real and it's mind-boggling to begin with and begin to question literally everything you know about well everything.

I mean how can you just go back to school knowing that there are monsters literally living under our feet it's crazy

Mary's phone buzzed she apparently added in a function on her phone that every time some local news reported some accident or robbery she would get a ping on her phone hoping To get a glimpse of her hero in person

Mary excited about the news which was also disturbing: oh there's a fire in an apartment building downtown they say it's raging out of control maybe I'll get to see the Demon come on girls let's go

Doris Day night regrettably followed Mary I knew Jim wasn't gonna show up, he was lying low since the battle of the bridge still healing from his wounds but I can't deal with Mary constantly asking me the same questions over and over again and about what he looks like also it might be a good way if Jim got out there and help the local authorities to see him in a different light

I send a text to him explaining the accident and also explaining how this would help him in with his Authority chasing after him problem not to mention my problem with Mary constantly asking me questions. (Jim's phone can read him text) just as we arrived at the scene I got a text from Toby telling me that Jim was on his way

The fire was blazing out of control Mary was recording the whole thing on her phone just waiting for the town hero to show up that's when someone spotted him out running on top of the buildings and crashing through a broken window. Jim sure knows how to make an entrance I'll give him that he then comes out of the building and drops a little girl by the firefighters firefighters around the little girl to make sure she's okay.
