Part 8 || "Hoon"

Sunghoon's POV

Sunghoon: "why don't you call me Hoon anymore"

She was surprised by the sudden question judging by her body language. She avoided eye contact with me and faced forward

Y/N: "I know I called you that before but it's just weird after your sudden change. I mean no offense or anything but it'll just take some getting used to you know?" I stayed quiet learning my place. Is it really this hard to get someone to genuinely like you? So annoying. I kept my hands in my pocket and stayed beside y/n as she said her order and I said mine afterwards. Once we got our orders we sat in one of the open tables facing each other enjoying our burgers

Sunghoon: "for a small turd like you, you eat a lot" although she is incredibly slim

Y/N: "yah!" She said to me angrily. Stop slipping Sunghoon! Get her to like you get her to like you! I repeated to myself over and over again

Sunghoon: "I meant that was a good thing" she glared at me and took another bite the same time as me. We were both quite hungry so we didn't talk much.

Y/N: "you're such a sloppy eater" she threw a piece of tissue in front of me and chuckled. Did I have sauce on my mouth? I picked it up and wiped the tissue over my mouth and I pull away and see some ketchup. Oops.

Sunghoon: "are we studying today?"

Y/N: "honestly I don't really feel like it let's just chill first" we took a bite out of our burgers just relishing the taste

Boy: "uhmm y/n?" We both looked up to see one of our batch mates

Y/N: "jaehyuk" (if there's an idol named Jaehyuk I'm sorry he's just made up in this story HABSHBAS) she stood up facing him

Jaehyuk: "can I talk to you please?" Y/n sighed and looked at me

Y/N: "give me 5" she left with him and went somewhere else. I could see but not hear them. She looked irritated and you could see them disagreeing on something

Y/N's POV

Y/N: "Jaehyuk please I said I'm sorry"

Jaehyuk: "why? I've done nothing wrong how could you not like me?"

Y/N: "this is why I don't like you!" I finally said already so frustrated I wanted to pull my hair out. He looked at me confused at my words

Jaehyuk: "what do you mean" I sighed and groaned while massaging the bridge of my nose

Y/N: "this!" I pointed at all of him "you're too clingy and you're too persistent even if I already said I don't like you" He looked down and the feeling of guilt rushed all over me. I felt bad when this feeling came but he had to know. He stood there just staying quiet until he suddenly left leaving me confused. I scoffed while watching him walk away and made my way back to Sunghoon.

Sunghoon: "what and who was that about?" I picked up my burger and took one last bite since it was the last piece. I swallowed while closing my eyes and drank some water

Y/N: "Jaehyuk, he's been courting me for maybe a year now. He's the one messaging me at your house"

Sunghoon: "what did you say to him?"

Y/N: "a few things but to cut it short I just simply told him to fuck off" I chuckled

Sunghoon: "seriously?" He asked in an amused kind of tone

Y/N: "I mean yeah," I paused and took a bite of my French Fry "wouldn't you get annoyed if someone followed you around trying to get your attention?"

Sunghoon: "of course girls are chasing me 24/7" I scrunched my face in a disgusted manner and threw a fry at him

Y/N: "playboy!" He backed away surprised at my actions

Sunghoon: "yah! My shirts got oil now" I rolled my eyes

Y/N: "so dramatic" I stood up and crushed the paper wrappings into a ball and shot it in the trash can. I could see Sunghoon doing the same thing but he wasn't able to shoot resulting me to chuckle quietly. He glared at me and bent down to pick it up and placed it in the trash can aggressively "so harsh"

<time skip weekend>

Jake: "so are we doing it or not?"

Yeji: "of course we are! Let's go!" Yeji linked arms with me and pulled me towards the laser tag arena. Sunghoon and Jake just quietly followed behind us talking about their guy stuff.

We talked to the staff and they explained the rules although we already knew them and we just had to wait for the people inside to finish. While waiting we geared up and once the group ahead of us finished we final checked ourselves. This game will be boys VS girls

Sunghoon: "first person I'm gonna shoot will be y/n"

Y/N: "yah! I swear I'm gonna kill you Sunghoon!" Jake and Yeji chuckled at us and Sunghoon just smiled at me

Yeji: "I'm doing the same with you babe" Jake and I were acting dramatically shocked

Y/N: "game on!" We entered the place and I started hiding behind one of the walls. We played for a while and we both ran in after we finished discussing our plan. We ran opposite directions but when I looked around me Yeji was gone. Dang it I lost her! I'll just go to the tower we agreed on meeting

Sunghoon's POV

I was hiding while trying to aim at y/n. I could see her moving around and pointed at her. She stood up and suddenly ran somewhere else to which I lost her. Damn it! Where's Jake anyway? I thought we agreed to stick together. All of a sudden I felt someone crash onto me making me fall on my back while whoever this was, was on top of my chest

Y/N: "Omg sorry Yeji I didn't- Sunghoon!" She widened her eyes while she was on top of me. I just stared at her still quite shocked with how close we are. She moved away from me and aimed her gun at me right away and I did the same "what are you doing here?!" She whispered-screamed

Sunghoon: "what do you mean, I'm here to shoot you" she scoffed

Y/N: "Yeji said she was gonna meet me by this tower"

Sunghoon: "Jake too" we still aimed at each other ready to shoot

Y/N: "don't shoot me I won't shoot you" she proposed a deal

Sunghoon: "how would I know you're not bluffing" she rolled her eyes

Y/N: "last chance" she pointed at my target

Sunghoon: "fine don't shoot!" I put down my gun and so did she

Y/N: "nice, but next time I'm shooting you" she playfully winked and messed up my hair "see ya Hoon" she quickly stood up and ran away

Did she just call me Hoon?

So I've never played laser tag so if there are things that are wrong please forgive me. Also I was wondering do you guys think I should write a book? I'm actually very tempted but it's just hard since it'll be the story of Spoiled Rich Kid but with different plots but same story it's just I want it not to be cliche that everyone knows the ending already. Another challenge is telling my fam since they can be kinda judgmental and straight forward about their thoughts so I need ur opinions hehehe
