~Y/n pov~

I groaned as Luffy tried to pull me out of bed, the sun hadn't even risen yet.

"Go to sleep." I whined.

"But I'm not tired." Luffy pouted, whining back.

I grabbed his arm and yanked it, pulling him back into bed.

Rolling over, I pinned him down using my weight so he wouldn't move.

He struggled for a few seconds before huffing, realising he couldn't escape.

I ran my fingers through his hair and saw him starting to relax.

His eyes started to droop and he let out a small yawn.

Not tired, my ass.

I hummed gently and lulled Luffy to sleep.

When he was finally asleep, I relaxed and allowed myself to fall asleep.

As soon as Luffy smelled food, he was up.

"C'mon!" Luffy grinned at me.

"Okay, okay." I got up and let Luffy move.

Sighing, I decided I should probably get up as well.

Luffy had raced off and was probably already in the kitchen begging Sanji for food.

I quickly got dressed and combed out my messy hair.

When I made it outside the kitchen, I could hear Luffy bugging Sanji.

"Oi, Luffy. Let Sanji finished cooking." I told him as I entered the kitchen.

"But.."

I cut him off, "No."

Sanji looked grateful when I pulled Luffy away outside.

The blonde chef always made his food early and just when the sun was rising.

Luffy would always wake up to the smell of food and start bothering him.

So whenever I would also get up and drag Luffy away, Sanji would be glad.

"But I wanted to eat food." Luffy whined, swinging our hands back and forth.

"Well, you don't always get what you want."

"But I'm the captain." Luffy whined.

I sighed, "Sanji will be done soon."

Luffy huffed and I dragged him over to the figurehead.

He jumped up and sat down.

Then, he stretched his arm and wrapped it around my waist, pulling me up to sit beside him.

I leant into his side and watched the sunrise.

Mornings like this were somewhat peaceful.
