I panted as I ran.

The only thing on my mind was running.

The adrenaline running through my veins was compelling me to go faster.

Peering over my shoulder, I saw the monster still chasing me.

I wasn't sure what it was. All I knew was it was a shapeshifting monster and that it wanted to kill me.

My legs burned, begging me to stop running.

I ignored them and continued onwards.

I ran and ran.

Eventually, I got out of the woods.

Looking over my shoulder again, I saw that I had lost sight of the monster.

My breathing was rapid as I tried to catch my breath.

What the hell was that thing?

Tears ran down my face.

What just happened?

I assumed I had the lost the monster, but I couldn't of been more wrong.

There was heavy breathing, but it wasn't mine.

I turned and saw the clown.

It smirked at me and grabbed my shoulder in an iron grip.

I panicked and struggled.

Reaching into my pocket, I pulled out a blade and stabbed it in the hand.

The creature roared in pain, clutching its hand.

I took this chance to run again.

I had made it into the neighbourhood by now.

My eyes darting around the black and white scenery.

Gasping, I almost stopped running.

There stood a brown haired boy. The moment we locked eyes, I saw colour.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him away.

"We gotta run."

The boy looked behind us and saw the creature.

"IT's after you too?"

We ran hand in hand.

Somehow, we eventually lost it.

"My name is Y/n. What's yours?"

"Richie."
