Chapter 1: Litany

"Shana!!!"

My eyes widened when I heard that voice. Yrina and I sprinted to go to the our secret spot and hide the spray paints. I immediately looked at myself through the mirror and tied my hair.

"Mahuhuli tayo ni Rayd kapag lumabas tayo. What's your plan?" Yrina asked, already panicking.

I rolled my eyes. "I'll go out. Bilisan mong lumabas. Make sure na hindi ka mahuhuli ng lalaking yun," sagot ko.

Her forehead knotted and shook her head. "No. I will not leave you here. Siguradong masususpend ka na naman," she whispered.

Nilingon ko siya at tinasaan ng kilay. "Umalis ka na. Our exam will be next month. Sulat ka ng notes dahil baka masuspend ako," ani ko saka siya kinindatan.

Napairap siya. "Sigurado ka? You know your brother Shana. Isusumbong ka no'n," aniya.

I glanced at her through the mirror. "As if naman na hindi pa 'ko sanay?" mataray na sabi ko.

"Shana! I know you're here! Opened this fucking door Alisha!"

"Alis na Yrina," asik ko. She sighed and went out. Dumaan siya sa emergency exit namin.

"Shana!"

I get my bag before going out of the three house. Sa likod ng school namin ay mayroong naglalakihang mga puno. Yrina and I found this and became our secret base.

"Shut up will you?" inis na sabi ko pagkalabas. I gasped when he held on my shoulders tightly. "Ang sakit, ano ba?!" sigaw ko. I looked at him and saw his bloodshot eyes.

"Mommy is about to give birth and you're just vandalizing again?!" he bursted. Sumandal ako sa pader at kinutkot ang kuko. "I will tell you to Daddy. For sure you will be suspend again."

I smirked. "Edi good," asik ko. Inunahan ko na siya papunta sa kotse. "Sir, pakibilisan ng pagdadrive, baka ten years old na kapatid ko wala pa tayo sa ospital," I asked boredly.

"Sige Ma'am."

"Fix your uniform, Shana. Puro ka pintura," pangingialam ng kapatid ko.

I glared at him. "Edi labhan mo," sagot ko. I took my phone from my pocket when it beeped.

Tita Kenzie: Shana! Bkit ang tagal niyo?!

I pouted. She looks angry.

Me: Nasa kotse na po Tita. Malapit na po

"Shana itong bag mo!" I ignored Rayd and run to the delivery room. Nakita ko pa si Tita Kenzie at napatayo ito nang makita ako.

"Si Mommy po?" tanong ko. She went closer to me with an intimadating look. I smiled.

"Look at your uniform Shana. Napakadungis mo na naman," aniya habang inaayos ang kwelyo ko.

"Si Mommy po Tita, ayos lang ba siya? Kasama niya si Daddy?" I asked. She smiled and nodded.

"Ayos lang ang Mommy. But for sure, your Dad will be mad at you again seeing you this dirty," giit niya kaya napairap ako.

"Daddy is always mad at me naman," giit ko. She sighed and shooked her head.

"Because you always make a reason to make him mad. Ano na naman bang ginawa mo?" I pouted. Sasagot na sana ako nang may sumabat.

"She vandalized the school again Tita Kenzie. I will tell Dad and surely he will ask again our principal to tolerate her," sumbong niya.

I smirked and turn to him. "So what?" matigas na sabi ko saka kinuha sa kanya ang bag.

Umalis na 'ko sa harap nila at tumungo muna sa restroom. I changed my clothes into a pambahay. Napanguso pa 'ko dahil nadala ko pala ang isang spray na dapat iiwan ko sa secret spot.
