Part 28

Dylan's POV:

This weekend has been amazing. Short, yet amazing. Luke's family is amazing and i cant express how much i adore them.

Luke had woken me up early this morning so we could pack and get ready to leave without disturbing his family. which of course, we failed at because his mom wanted to make us breakfast before we left

"it was a pleasure to spend my weekend with you and your lovely family" i smile and embrace Liz

"oh honey, you were a delight. im so glad that he has found someone that truly makes him happy" she smiles and i blush

"ill be seeing you both again soon?" she asks and i Luke nods

he quickly kisses her and then we head out to the car

"do you want me to drive this time?" i ask and he shakes his head, making me get into the passenger seat

it takes a few hours before we get back into Sydney and Luke drops me off at my apartment

"ill text you" he promises and i nod before walking into the buidling.

Carly is sprawled out on the couch so i walk quietly to my room and unpack my bags.

i lay on my bed and go through some picutres and videos that i had taken over the weekend

"Hey, why didnt you wake me?" Carly yawns as she walks into my room, startling me

"sorry, i didnt want to make you grumpy" i apoligize and she shrugs

"how was the trip?" she asks and i beam

"really fun, the whole family is quite enthusiastic and i just love them to death" i smile and she nods

"im glad you had fun" she smiles and sits down on my bed

"yeah, what did you do?" i ask

"just watched chick flicks and ate ice cream" she jokes

"sounds thrilling" i laugh and she nods

"so when do you see the family again?" she asks

"no idea" i shrug

"you look tired, ill let you sleep, goodnight" she smiles and i bid her goodnight before crawling under the covers and drifting off to sleep.
