I was so nervous as I performed in front of his Majesty, I hoped that I would not stand out but I could not be more farther from my goal. As the dance had concluded, the man behind the screen, the decider of my fate, my husband, and the Emperor ordered me to the front, I was thankful that he didn't ask for the removal of my mask, after all somethings were better not known. He had rewarded me with with a bracelet carved out of the finest blood jade as he rewarded iftt to me I felt glares of envy and stares full of awe...He had then said to me "It is true that '英雄难过美人关'." His voice was soft and gentle but yet it was somehow in such a cheerful and happy event such as this, in his kind words were also wistful. I felt sad all of a sudden as a result of discovering that fact...which was probably why he did not wish to remove my mask, I believe that he has someone he loves but that is not within grasp and that is why he does not wish to remove my mask, he wishes to imagine me as the most important person to him.
