Chapter One: 予知

Start from the beginning

"Hmm, nothing~"
Staring at the other senior in the classroom, Matsuri only hummed out a word.

Both Fubuki's and Miko's eyes blanked at the moment Matsuri let out her so-called seductive voice - her chin and jaw being held up by her hands, eyeing only at the sight of an angel.
The angel, who is minding her own business - is hanging down her head while hugging a plushie in her arms, sleeping mindlessly to pass the time.

Her seat was beside the windows, the sun consuming the upper body while her front hair covers her eyes from the piercing light.

"Haah..Anyway, Matsuri-chan shouldn't stare at someone like that, especially at someone you don't know."
Pulling her genmate out of the fantasy world, Fubuki scolds Matsuri casually.

"I'll only stop staring once you agree that she's cute and adorable."
Whispering slightly to Fubuki - she only sighs softly before agreeing hesitantly.

"Yay!..Also, who is that? We never met her last time."
Clearing her victory stance, Matsuri settles down as promised - it was true what she said, before the academy was closed, they've never met or saw each other in the early allowance of the academy.

"Yeah, I don't know who she is either.."

Thinking to themselves, Miko only stifled a heavy sigh that almost escaped - glancing at the side of the classroom, her eyes only softened in pity while staring at the drowsy angel.

"Her name is Amane Kuraim, the second daughter of
the seraphic family in the divine society."
Miko stated to her juniors - whispering the second sentence to them.

"Huh? You know her?"
The juniors asked in curiosity, jumping up from their seats to hear the senior closer.

"..Well, Not personally, but-"
Before she could continue, Miko gets cut off as one of her genmates jumped on her back - the rest were scrambling and running to their seats.

"Ack!- Sora-chan!?"

"Mikochi! We have to talk later alright?
The teacher is coming."
Letting go of Miko - Sora rushed over to the front seats.

"Uwawa.."

Writing what the teacher instructed in the lesson, Miko could only focus on the intense atmosphere that was put on stage for her - Kuraim, who was only farther up a bit from Miko, was staring straight but she was tapping her pen at the very edge of her table.

Some of the girls noticed but brushed it off and thought it was a natural thing to do - what they didn't know, that Kuraim was secretly using sign language and she signed it slowly for Miko, so she could keep up with what Kuraim was saying.

What she signed was; Let's meet when it's not busy.

Miko nodded while looking down and stopped writing on the page, pretending she was finishing a sentence - Kuraim's eyes then stopped looking at the window and started writing what the teacher was illuminating.

Just as I predicted..I've really done it now; Miko swallowed as she finished thinking - convincing herself that the second daughter of the Amane family will banish Miko and her own family.

'Prediction sucks, I wish I never knew from the start.'
「予測はひどいです、私は最初から知らなかったらいいのにと思います。」

Since this book is gonna be manga-based as the cover portrayed, I'm trying to replicate and understand how Japanese lives work in the country - between anime and real life, I'll be mixing them to make it more sense, like how a Japanese person lives as a shrine maiden.

Of course, the academy system will be custom by my own choice since well..you know what, you'll find out on your own and see how the system works as you keep reading it - I don't want to spoil anything.

This is the Japanese version of sign language, I still barely understand Japanese myself but I'm cautious when it comes to a different language that I don't understand - like English for example, I research and see what fits and what makes sense for a sentence.

English: Let's meet when it's not busy.

Japanese: Isogashikunai toki ni aimashou.

Both sentences are the same.

English: Such an angel should not suffer.

Japanese: ❦そのような天使は苦しむべきではありません❦.
[❦ Such angels should not suffer ❦] - literally what it translates ;o;

Google translate is also used, but it is hard when it comes down to Japanese - Japanese has many hiragana, katakana, and kanji, which is what makes it hard for google translate to convey back to back, sometimes it translates something that isn't correct or the same.

It's a literal struggle to fix and find out what fits both of them.

I tried putting in a Japanese sentence that didn't include using kanji and etc, but it didn't work out when I translated it..

Try translating; Sono yona tenshi wa kurushimubekide wa arimasen.

and see what you got..

I gave up and used the sentence that had kanji and etc, I had no time to stress on one single thing.

I know the dialogues are short and lacking sense in character, but hey - this is only the beginning of where the story progresses, give it some time will ya?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading the first chapter.

Looking forward to the next chapter?

Me too friend^^
