Winter stopped breathing for a second when she saw Scarlett's best friend and she thought this had to be the universe's way of getting back at her. Her high school best friend, Hope, was Scarlett's best friend.

Hope just smiled at her, "It's so nice to meet you."

Oh, we're pretending we don't know each other. Winter thought as she put a smile on her face, "Yeah, you, too."

Scarlett didn't seem to notice the tension in the air as Winter eyed Hope. She hadn't seen her ex-best friend in almost seven years and she never planned to see her again.

Josie was supposed to be meeting them in a few minutes so Winter sent her a text letting her know the whole situation. That way nothing would get awkward.

When Josie arrived, she put on an act that was bullet proof, acting like she didn't know Hope. Everything seemed to go fine between all of them, but Winter still felt guilty for lying to Scarlett.

You'll never guess who Scarlett's best friend is

Mama:
Is it Hope?

Daughter:
Yes!
And I don't know what to do
She acted like she didn't know me and I went with it.
What am I supposed to do?

Mama:
You should tell Scarlett. I know you like her and you can't start a relationship with lies.

Daughter:
I know. But we swore to never talk about it again.

Mama:
Yeah, well we didn't plan on your future girlfriend being best friends with her. So think this can be an exception.

Daughter:
It's just my luck that they're best friends. Like out of everyone in the world, she has to pick Scarlett?

Mama:
Just talk to Scarlett, I'm sure she'll understand

Daughter:
Yes ma'am
