"Go up.. Don't take your car now, grab a bus, the bus stop is a few minutes away", she said..

Vikram had his purse, but we didn't have our phones..

" Thank you so much, Why did you help us?", I asked

She nodded.. "I couldn't go along doing nothing. Never go stay with strangers you don't know", she said

"Then why are you here still in this toxic family, come on escape with us", I said

Prasanna shook her head. "Some people aren't lucky enough, I can't get away from here. .it's a big story, but you guys have to leave fast, .before anyone notices"

I nodded, Vikram thanked her.

We got out of the basement, to the back yard.

"What about the car Vikram,? ", I asked

" I'll call the police , let us first get the bus", he said

We went to the bus station.. Guess no one found out.

We boarded the bus, and Vikram borrowed the phone from a passenger to call Ajay and Gautham..

I sat near the window..

"Weird things happening to us right! ", he asked

" Ya.. ", I laughed, " Unbelievable ",

" Anyways I have you with me, ", I said and took his arms..

"Hey Sree, Would you have believed me, if you hadn't overheard them speaking?", Vikram asked

"Of course, I would, I have more trust in you than on myself", I said and closed my eyes

I leaned on his shoulder and fell asleep.

1 week passed since that incident. I was in my office, working when Raj came inside.

"Busy? I wanted a meet", he said

" Sure, I'm so excited about this project Raj! I have been going through the particulars just now..! Let me tell what I found", I said and talked animatedly.

If this went through, it was a great opportunity for the company!

Then I heard a knock on the door..

"Come in", I said

It was Vikram.. He entered..

" Hey Sree.. I wanted to talk about ", he started and looked to the side at Raj and stopped talking.

" What are you doing here", he asked Raj sternly..

"You know each other? ", I asked

Vikram didn't respond and kept staring at Raj

" Nice to meet you too Vikram", Raj said

"Get out! Get out of here! ", Vikram suddenly shouted at Raj which surprised me.

Raj just smirked.

" I'm not in your office Vikram, as you can see I'm in an important meeting with Sreedevi in her office. So you should be the one getting out. Let Sreedevi tell and I'll be out of your hair", Raj said

"Sree..! Tell him to get out", Vikram asked me

" What? Why? ", I asked

Why was Vikram behaving so rude with Raj.
We were in the midst of the project discussion, how and why will I send him out!

" You are asking me questions now? I have to discuss something with you and I want him out ", Vikram said

" Look Vikram, whatever is between you both, you can sort out, we were in the midst of an important meeting, you can leave if you don't want to be here", I said

Vikram looked angry and he stormed out of the room

"Don't mind him, let's continue", I said and continued the meet.

I went home and went to my room.. Where was he ? I knew he was angry, but he couldn't just come to my office and order my client to get out!..

I searched around the house and saw him in the gym working out..

I went in, he looked at me but turned back to lifting the weights..

I went near him..

"Vikram? ", I said lightly

I touched his shoulder but he moved away.

" Come on now! You can't be angry on that! You asked my client to get out! ", I said

He didn't respond.

I stood in front of him

" Are you going to give me the silent treatment now? ", I asked.

He simply put the weights down and moved to the tread mill..

I tried following him, and my leg tripped over an equipment and he held me..

I looked up into his eyes.. " Be careful ", he said and moved past me, moving his hand away.

I however held his hand.. And moved closer to him.

I bent up and placed a soft kiss on his lips.. He didn't flinch.. His lips tasted salty.

" Come on,! ", I said

"He is my rival Sree.. You are doing business with my rival company! ", he said

" Oh!. ", was what I said as I was trying to process

That was why Vikram was so angry!

" I didn't know Vikram ", I said

" That's ok, cut the deals with him", he said

"On what basis Vikram? The project is actually a good one", I said

" I don't care! I can't have my wife work with my rival! ", he said..

I felt conflicted. On one hand.. I understood how Vikram would feel and I didn't want to work with a person who is against him and on the other, didn't I have to be professional, on what basis do I cancel the deal? That my husband didn't like it?

I pondered over it..

"What you won't even do this, just because I asked you! You don't know about Raj as much as I do ", he responded showing a glint irritation

" Vikram, you are a businessman would you cancel an important deal, just because I said so", I asked

"Of course Sree , especially if you have a bad relationship with the person, then yes, look ill help you get good clients,  if you want I can tell you what all problems I had to face in my business because of him, I loathe him and you should be wary too", he told

I raised my eyebrows..
"Really? And what reason should I tell them to cancel the deal? ", I asked

" That you no longer interested in working with them, due to some commitments, so please get out", he said simply

"Oh wow, how neat, but I'm not that arrogant CEO", I said

" Is this even a problem Sree, you don't want to get rid of him for me, that's why you are hesitating ", he said

" Oh come on, the fact that I am even thinking is for you! ", I said

" I'm sorry if I was rude to you, just think", he said and kissed my forehead and went back to his exercise.
