After the incident with Emily.Donald and Douglas began to regret on what they have done,nothing of this wouldn't happened if they can just be in the back together
The next day,both of them worked together.It was going smooth and well,nothing isn't going to ruin anything,until Sir Topham Hatt told Donald to work with Duck.And Douglas was left all alone,with no one else to work with
"Hello,Douglas! You're feeling a bit down.What's wrong?" Thomas asked.He just looked at him and told Thomas that he has no one to work with,Thomas would like to offer him to work together bu he has other buisness to do;"ach,is alright,Thomas.You have more important jobs to do"
and with that,Thomas left Douglas,feeling a little sorry for him,but Annie and Clarabell said that Donald would be back once the day is over.Thomas felt a little bit better after that,and move along with his day
at the end of the day,he has nothing else to do.All of his jobs are finnished and he aas nothing else to do.Until a familliar whistle was heard and Emily came along.He is blushing very hard,he always had a crush on Emily ever since they met,and Douglas has been very unpatienced to tell her his feelings
but no matter what courage he gets,it will always drain down again and again.But today,he will ask Emily to hang out,maybe then,Douglas can tell Emily his feelings.But what if she rejects? That will be very heart breaking to hear
"Douglas?! DOUGLAS!" Emily shouted his name,he is shocked because he was busy thinking about what will he do.Emily asked what is Douglas doing without his brother,after what she had heard from Douglas,she felt bit of a pity for him,but atleast there will be no more arguments between them
"oh,i see.Well,atleast it's the end of the day,he can be free now!" Emily said,trting to cheer him up; "oh,Emily,he isn't done with Duck,yet." Douglas mentioned.Emily thought that having a bit of a stroll is alright,i mean,what could go wrong?
Emily offered Douglas if he can go on a walk,Douglas happily accept's her offer.And so,they had a bit of a conversation on the way
"so,uh,Emily...how's you're day?" "It's going smooth! Nothing had gone wrong today" said Emily.Douglas wanted to tell stories about him and his brother before arriving on Sodor,but he can't remember if he actually told him about it,so,he didn't tell Emily about it
And he also doesn't like it when there is an embarassing moment between him and anybody,he think's that it will get uncomfortable when there is an akward moment.Douglas look's at Emily whenever he has the chance,it was kinda tricky since he also need's to watch where he is going aswell
After a while,he stopped taking glances at Emily and started day dreaming.Yeah,he's got a biiiiig crush on Emily,and only Donald,Oliver,and Toad know's about it(although Oliver did mentioned it to Duck on accident)
he day dreamed about him and Emily being a couple.Always there for each other,and always stand up for eachother.Well,let's just say that his day dreaming didn't last long because Emily decided to snap him from out of his thoughts
"uhhh,Douglas? Why are you staring at me a little bit back there? Is there something wrong with me?" Emily said,feeling a bit cautious.This made Douglas silly,but he can't handle it,she was just too perfect!
"about...that...uhhh,it's nothing,Emily! It's just...ach! Ok,i may have taken a few glances,but,i was...uh...making sure,you're alright!" Douglas said very nervously.Emily,however,had some idea in her head that will make Douglas blush alot from it
"say Douglas...i heard rumors about you having a crush on someone...is it me or?-" Emily started,with a smug on her face.This made Douglas filled his firebox with butterflies! Although he don't wanna admit it,Emily already found out about it,and now,he has to admit it
"oh,that child!" Mummered Douglas.He seems to be pissed,now; "f-fine,i like you.And i had a crush since i first saw you! Please,don't hate me! We can still be friends,right?!" Douglas said,very embarassed and worried about what he had said and the expression that Emily would display
"oh! That's quiet the good coincedence.I...also have a crush on you too,Douglas..." Emily said sheepishly.It became a bit akward due to the silence between them,but then Donald and Duck came in and tuin the moment between Douglas and Emily
"aight,Douggie,who is this lad you're with? You're lover? Hmmm?" Donald teased his brother.This made Douglas embarassed and silly; "Donald,we should really get going! There is 2 ways of doing things.The great-" "ach,i know,Duck!"
and so,they chuffed away feeling a bit blum with eachother.Soon,it quickly became non akward anymore
soon,it was completely dark.Emily and Douglas went to their sheds and Douglas could wait to hear his brother teasing him over and over again
