As Cinderell rushed to his room, he panted and smiled. He got in and closed the door, dropping all the sewing and laundry, "Everyone! Gather round!" He sat on the bed and started to mend a jacket as he told what happened. The mice gasped in awe. Cinderell kneeled in front of a chest and opened it, revealing an old but neat pink suit, "My father wore this to his first dance, where he met my mother." He stood up and held the suit to his body, assessing it, "It's a little old fashioned, but I can make it work." One of the mice, Jackie, scurried up his pant leg and his short to face him, "But what-a about-a the choresy?"
[Cinderell:] Cinderell, Cinderell
All I hear is Cinderell, from the moment I get up
till shades of night are falling
There isn't any letup, I hear them calling, calling
Go up and do the attic and go down and do the cellar, you can do them
both together
"Cinderell."
How lovely it would be
if I could live in my fantasy
But in the middle of my dreaming
they're screaming
at me
Cinderell." He got up, dropping the suit and a book of sewing tips, and rushed downstairs. [Jackie:] "Every time he'd find a minute
That's the time that they begin it
Cinderelly, Cinderelly

[Stepbrothers:] Cinderell!

[Jackie:] Cinderelly, Cinderelly
Night and day it's Cinderelly
Make the fire, fix the breakfast
Wash the dishes, do the mopping

[Boy mice:] And the sweeping and the dusting
They always keep him hopping

[Jackie:] He goes around in circles
Till he's very, very dizzy
Still they holler

[Boy mice:] Keep a-busy Cinderelly!" The mice all sat down near the suit as they heard the screams of the brothers. Then, a boy mouse spoke up, " We can do it! We can do it, we can do it
We can help our Cinderelly
We can make his suit so pretty
There's nothing to it, really
We'll tie a sash around it
Put a ribbon through it
When dancing at the ball
He'll be more beautiful than all
In the lovely suit we'll make for Cinderelly
Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry
Gonna help our Cinderelly
Got no time to dilly-dally
We gotta get a-goin'" Every mouse was rushing around, so much that Gigi, Jackie's friend, and Jackie bumped into each other. They rushed away and picked up scissors and a needle. [Gigi:] I'll cut with these scissors! [Jackie:]
And I can do the sewing!

[Boy Mouse:]
Leave the sewing to the men
You go get some trimmin'
And we'll make a lovely suit for
Cinderelly!

[Boy mice and Gigi:]
We'll make a lovely suit for
Cinderelly!"
Gigi and Jackie rushed down and grabbed some cuff links and a pink sash. They rushed back up, and soon the suit was completed.

Cinderell went back up to his room and sighed, leaning his head out the window, "W-what's with that stupid ball? Who cares about going and seeing yourself look handsome, and possibly meeting other people who... Could fall for you." He walked to his bed and flopped onto his back, sighing and a tear running down the side of his face. Then, he heard, "Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!" He sat up to see his closet open and reveal a pink suit, hanging neatly with a pair of dress shoes to match. "Oh thank you! But... Why?" He picked up the suit and put it on, then Jackie spoke up, "We did it to thank you for being so kind to us." Cinderell smiled and wiped a tear away. Putting on the shoes, he rushed downstairs to find his stepbrothers just about to walk out, "Wait! Wait for me!" He bounded down the steps and stood in front of his stepfather, "See? I have a suit, shoes, and I'm clean. All in time!" Cinderell smiled wide, but it faded and Lord Tremaine ripped the sash off, "Now, what are you doing with one of your MASTERS pieces of fabric?" Lord Tremaine threw it to the ground and ripped up the rest of his suit, leaving Cinderell in tatters and his step- no, his MASTERS to look to their father with fear. They left soon and Cinderell rushed to the gardens, where he could cry in piece without anyone hurting him. The mice gathered to see Cinderell, crying on a bench in tatters. Unbeknownst to Cinderell, a faint blue light surrounded him and a gentle hand petted his hair. A feminine voice spoke, "Now now, dear. We can't have you going to the ball in that, especially when I worked just as hard as your friends to make you transportation!" Cinderell lifted his head and stared at the young woman whose lap he was crying into. He sniffed and stood up, "W-who are you?" The girl frowned then tilted her head, "Do you not remember me?" Cinderell shook his head, blinking. The lady only sighed, "Well, no matter. I can still help you!"
"But how?" Cinderell asked, tilting his head.
" Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!" The fairy godmother waved her wand and long, glittery string wrapped around Cinderell loosely and transformed the torn suit into a handsome, baby blue uniform. Cinderell smiled and wiped away a tear, "Thank you!"
"Of course. Now, hurry! You can't be late to the ball!" Cinderell ran into the carriage and it rose off to the palace.
