It was 7am, Ahaan woke up with a throbbing headache, "Jaab drink karke itna sar dard hota hai toh aap kyun itna peete hai" he heard- 

He instantly knew who it was, "Ishqi"

Ishqi: Kya Ishqi- Yeh lijiye nimbu paani pee lein, she said while handing him the glass- 

Ahaan: T-thank you-

Ishqi: Kahan ka thank you....Aapne mere liye kal subah stand liya tha na toh aaj subah meine soocha ke jaane se pehle mein bhi aap ke liye kuch karlu- 

Ahaan: Kal Subah? K-Kya hua tha kal subah? he asked hesitantly 

Ishqi completely ignored his question, "Accha Ahaan, mein chalti houn, meine wapis Mumbai jaana hai in a few hours-" 

Ahaan: Mat jao, he uttered but she'd already left the room-

Ishqi was putting on a happiness facade, she was breaking from the inside with each passing moment. She couldn't control her emotions anymore, she thanked god it was her last day here for she knew that she couldn't further look into Ahaan's eyes without letting all the emotions she felt for him become visible. She took a deep breath and with a heavy heart she started packing her clothes. 

Ishqi (in mind): Ishqi tu itni dukhi kyun ho rahi hai? Ahaan bhi kuch time mein Mumabi ajaige but, but tab tak unki aur Rhea ki shaadi ho chuki hogi and nothing is going to be the same-

Meanwhile Kartik entered Ahaan's room, he was in a complete mood to pester Ahaan- 

Kartik: Kisse rok rahe hai bhai- 

Ahaan: Ki-kisse? Kissi ko nahi buss wasai hi-

Kartik: Nasha uttar gaya aapka yeh abhi aur peena hai-

Ahaan: Shut up Kartik- 

Kartik: Waise bhai, nashe mein hi sahi lekin aapne kaam bohot accha kiya- 

Ahaan: Shoot! Kya kiye meine, he asked hesitantly 

Kartik: Kya kiya? Aapko pucchna chahiye ke aapne kya kya nahi kiya- 

Ahaan: Yaar Kartik mera sar pehle hi dard kar raha hai, tu seedha seedha baata de warna toh pitega- 

Kartik: Okay okay, itne agressive kyun ho rahe ho....Ishqi se milne ke baad toh aapka mood accha hojata hai na? he smirked 

Ahaan: Ye-Yeh tu kya bakwas kar raha hai- 

Kartik: Bakwas toh mat kaho bhai...Saach hai pura ka pura...Balke aapne khud poori family do bataya tha aur aab- Waise Ishqi sahi kehti hai.....Aap drunk hi raha karo..

Ahaan: Kartik please batana ke meine kal kya kiya? 

Kartik: Theek hai...Aap itna keh rahe ho toh bata deta houn....

"Bhai aapne bohot zyada peeli thi aur you were sitting by the poolside and phir Ishqi ne mujhe phone kiya ke mein aapko undar lejao and", he paused

Ahaan gasped, "Yaad agaya"- All the events of the previous day flashed in front of his eyes. First the conversation with Ishqi by the poolside, choosing Ishqi over Rhea, canceling the engagement with Rhea and then taking a stand for Ishqi. The memory that was most prominent in his head was Ishqi's midnight confession, maybe cuz he wasn't as drunk anymore. He remembered everything she said- word for word. Instead of becoming a vague memory it had become a reality.....Ishqi loved him....and that was all he needed to hear.
