Context: What if Ahaan accepted his love for Ishqi and then learnt about Mayank's character before the wedding? What if he helped Ishqi back out from the wedding? What about Rhea? Love? Family? Society? 

This is a vv random story idea but hope y'all enjoy it!!!

It was the much awaited night of the two weddings, even though Ahaan was elated for Sonu's marriage he felt disconsolate for Ishqi and Mayank's. He sat by the poolside, confused as to why he was hurting- "I should be happy for my best friend" but he couldn't convince his heart that today was the day Ishqi would belong to Mayank forever, killing any changes of her being his- 

He knew Ishqi wasn't happy with this wedding either, she had confessed that she didn't feel anything for Mayank- 

"Mayank ke liye kuch nahi hota- Aap ke liye hota hai"

Ahaan (inner voice): What is this?! Both me and Ishqi are committed but we don't love our respective partners...We...we love...each other..

Yes- finally, finally Ahaan had accepted his love for Ishqi, she held a special place in his heart that no one could take...ever. 

"But...but it's too late now....You took too long Ahaan"...he sighed and a lone tear dropped from his eye- 

He had never desired anything for himself, it was always for his family but this time he begged god for a miracle, something...anything to cancel this wedding. "Pleaseee"- He promised to never ask for anything after he got Ishqi..he just wanted Ishqi. 

Just then his phone rang, it was Mayank- he quickly wiped his tears and answered the call- 

"Hello Ahaan- I'm busy getting ready so can you go into my room and get the necklace I've placed on my dresser and please go give it to Ishqi? I want her to wear it for our wedding tonight..

"A chance to meet Ishqi...akhri baar hi sahi before she's no longer JUST Ishqi..."

"Oh-okay, I'll give it- don't worry"

He cut the call and rushed inside the resort, while he was passing by a room he heard Mayank and his friend Akash having a serious talk- "What could they be talking about?" - Curiosity got the best of him and he moved closer to the room to listen in on their conversation-

Mayank: What do you mean ke phone ko repair hone mein ek aur din laage ga? he angrily said 

"Do you know much efforts I put in to drug her on the night of the party, those photos are the only way of blackmailing her....I need them before the wedding starts...I DON'T CARE...DO WHATEVER..JUST GET THAT PHONE FIXED"- he yelled  

Ahaan (inner voice): OMGGG....what the fudge did I just hear?!!....Mayank misbehaved with a girl and now he's blackmailing her?! Oh noo....Now I'm surely NOT going to let Ishqi get married to this jerk...but mein karun bhi toh kya??....Should I talk to Ishqi?....Yes, it's not like she's happy with this marriage anyways...
