Okay, so I may or may not have a soft spot for Regulus but, can you blame me?!

This is more of a best friend drabble. Also, you're wearing the outfit above with a pair of black chelsea boots.

I promise, next one-shot will be Remus or James!

Y/n's POV:

"Do you have anything planned or-"

"As a matter of a fact, Y/n, I have a lot of plans for us today, starting with me and you, reading by the Black lake." Regulus responded snarky.

I hummed, resting my shoulder against his as we walked hand in hand, a copy of Dracula under each arm,"That sounds amazing."

We arrived at the Black Lake, settling under a tree with a few orange leaves on it. Regulus sat against the trunk and I rested my head on his lap, my one leg over the other. His one hand was playing with my h/l, h/c hair and the other held his copy of Dracula. My one hand rested on my belly, the other holding my copy of Dracula.

I don't remember how I met Regulus; I do know we met when I was in my second year and he was in his third year. We were paired up for a potions assignment that took us a month. I sparked a conversation with him as we walked out of the class for the third time and he engaged. We found he had a lot in common and we both didn't have many friends.

So, we became friends and by fourth, we were best friends.

"Do you think we'd be friends if I wasn't your partner?"

I hissed as Regulus hit my forehead lightly with his book.

He looked down at me, his jade eyes locking with my e/c eyes.

"You asked me that three times already and my answer hasn't changed. Yes. We probably would never have talked or acknowledged one another." He responded honestly.

That's a thing I love about Regulus. He was always honest; even if he came off as harsh and rude. He didn't like lying. I loved the truth.

"I think so too." I laughed softly, going back to reading my book.

We sat in silence for a while until I broke it.

"Imagine being a vampire.."

"Can you ever read without engaging conversation?!"

"No."

I laughed as Regulus threw his head back against the trunk, his book over his face.

I sat up, sitting on my knees as I looked at him. I slowly peeled the book off his face, putting a stray leave inside as a book mark before putting it beside my identical copy (other than the huge ink stain on the back).

He opened his eye and looked at me, smiling.

(Two hours later)

Y/n's POV:

"You didn't answer my question."

"The vampire one?" He questioned.

I nodded against his shoulder, rubbing my thumb across his hand that was intertwined with my own.

He sighed softly, not in a way that made me think he was annoyed, more like a sigh of contentment.

"Well," he started,"If I were a vampire, I think I'd distance myself from you firstly."

I looked up at him,"Why would you do that?"

He met my gaze,"I wouldn't want to hurt you."

I smiled, my words coming out in a whisper.

"You would never hurt me. I'd kick you ass, vampire or not."

The wind rustled, Regulus staring at me until his lips cracked into wide smile and he laughed loudly.

After watched the sun set, we gathered our things and began walking back for dinner.

(After Dinner)

Y/n's POV:

"Okay, but let's say, hypothetically, we became vampires," I started.

Regulus groaned, throwing his head back.

"Enough with the vampire thing!!"

"Boo!"

I rolled my eyes, before I began speaking again.

"Who're you biting first?"

"Definitely you," he side eyed me,"And I'll bite your throat out while I'm at it."

I wiggled my eyebrows before he pushed me lightly, laughing.

"Well, I would bite you too." I beamed.

Regulus stopped infront of the door to the Ravenclaw common room, eyebrows furrowed before he looked down at me.

"Isn't it bad if a vampire drinks another vampires blood?"

"I wasn't talking about drinking your blood, Reggie. I was talking about biting you. There's a difference."

"Okay, let's say you're right," he looked at me,"what if vampire you bit vampire me and some of vampire me's blood accidentally got into your mouth and you swallowed it?"

I shrugged,"I dunno."

"You could die."

"Aren't vampires immortal?"

Me and Regulus stared at each other, his mouth a gape before he shut his eyes and shook his head.

"Why the fuck are we still talking about vampires?! It's been, like, five hours!" He exclaimed.

I doubled over, clutching my stomach as I laughed loudly.

Whether Regulus knew it or not, he was quite funny. If he didn't, that made him funnier.

I sighed, wiping a tear away before (walked up to him/stood on my tip-toes/bent down) and kissed him softly on his cheek.

"Good night Reggie. Thank you for the nice day. I had a great time." I beamed before I spun on my heel and followed the head girl into the common room, unaware of the blushing Regulus that stood outside the closed doors, hand pressed to his pale cheek.
