Christopher shook his head and mumbled, "It really was all my fault. I practically forced Mama to go online and find a guy, a guy who could possibly love her since she felt that I didn't love her."
His shame conquered him.
"Oh, Mama," He bawled. "I know it's way too late, but I'm so incredibly sorry. I love you so much. I know that you and I grew apart because of me, and I know I didn't show you that I love you, but it's true. You're the woman that I love the most. Really."
That was when Christopher already had his true love. He was just too naive to find it until now. His mama was his true love, he realized.
