Kabanata 25

Whenever the sun rises, new hope and wishes are made. Every morning's the start in everyone's chapter so it's better to start it great and with a smile.

"Enough na muna tayo sa chocolates, baby." I whispered to myself while standing in front of the mirror, touching my stomach to feel the small bump in it.

Mommy Philie would take care of you, my baby, okay?

I brushed my hair while smiling, thinking of the names I could possibly name my child. When my baby be a girl? A boy?

I went out early to have my breakfast pero pagkalabas pa lang ay bumungad na sa akin si Angelo na nakasandal pa sa may pader sa tapat ng pintuan ko.

"Good morning!" he greeted cheerfully with his bright smile.

Happy kid?"

"I'm only this energetic because you're the first person I saw today." Winking, he handed me a bouquet of baby's breath flowers.

"Anong ako?" I asked, "ano 'yon, naglakad ka na walang nakikitang ibang tao?"

"I closed my eyes not to see them, tho." He uttered and I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"Really?

"Where you going, babe? Let me tag along." Enthusiasm is laced on his voice when he said that kaya ngumuso ako at nailing.

"Have you eaten yet? I saw a resto nearby. I checked the menu and the food is great—"

"No cheese?" I asked, cutting him off. He shifted his gaze back to me and he I saw him nodded through my peripheral vision.

"We won't order those with cheese if you don't want, ayaw mo na ba sa cheese? Are you allergic? You weren't allergic before, right? O, hindi ko lang alam?"

Hindi ako. 'Yong anak natin.

His black orbs widened, shaking his head, he flashed another cute smile.

"No. Anyway, you looked pretty today." He complimented.

My heart pounded audibly. I didn't want him to see me this way so I averted my gaze and bit my inner cheek.

"Matagal na, hindi lang today." Sabat ko na lang.

"Yeah, of course." He chuckled lowly and I jumped when I felt the electricity coming from him when he moved his hand.

My brow shot up, glancing at him—I caught him pretending he isn't doing anything kaya hinampas ko na ang kamay.
