“It was a deal...” I replied.
“No! He definitely likes you, ang manhid mo! Why did you fall for that petty scheme, Khali Vernon?!” iritado niyang wika.
“Haah?” inis kong sambit. “It was just a deal.” pag-uulit ko.
“I‘m pretty sure he‘s just making a move on you, Lili!” sagot niya.
“Shut up, Kangaroo...” inis kong sambit.
Bigla nga siyang nanahimik. Napatingin tuloy ako sa kaniya. He slightly bit his lower lip as he stare at me.
“Ang daya mo, Lili... You always turn me down whenever I invite you to go out with me but you agreed to him just like that...” he said in a serious tone but in a sulky way.
