KHALI‘S POV
My free day was ruined again because of this tryout. Dapat natutulog palang ako ngayon eh.
“Khali, can I come over to your house later?” Alexander asked.
“Ask Jaemin.” sagot ko.
Napahawak siya sa batok niya, “She also told me to ask you...” he said.
Pinasa pa talaga sa‘kin, Jaemin?
“If she said it‘s fine then do whatever you want.” sabi ko nalang.
Jaemin still like him anyways. Wouldn‘t she be glad if he visits her in her home?
“Thanks! Are you okay, tho?” he suddenly asked. I stared at him. “You have something in your face...” sabi niya.
Ah... “Don‘t mind it...” sagot ko nalang.
“Sige, see you!” sabi niya tapos bumalik na sa horde niya.
I got these from last night‘s deadly battle against the fish.
Sinubukan kong iprito ‘yung ulam naming isda. I was kinda excited to try frying for the first time and I forgot to ask Jaemin for some tips. Nagiging popcorn nga pala ‘yung mantika at nagtatalsikan ng ganon kapag nilagay na ‘yung isda, kasi may tubig-tubig pa.
Huli na ang lahat nang mapagtanto ko ito, nagtamo na ako ng maraming tama sa mukha at braso... Lol.
Then the fish was burnt. Fantastic.
Bago kami magsimula sa volleyball game, halos lahat muna sila tinanong ako kung napano ‘yung mukha ko. Kulang nalang maglagay ako ng tag na nakasulat doon kung anong nangyari.
Hays. Gusto ko na umuwi.
While inside the court and having an ongoing match, there‘s only one thing in my mind...
I‘m hungry.
Buti naman at natapos rin agad sa wakas.
“Khali, pwede pumunta sa bahay niyo mamaya?” paalam naman ni Kian sabay kapit sa braso ko.
I sighed. “Bahala ka...”
“Yey! San ka nga pala kakain? Sabay na tayo!” aniya.
“I can‘t go today, I have to do something.” sabi ko.
Ngayon ko ililibre ng lunch si Gabriel eh. Sabi niya dalawa lang daw kami. That‘s his request. I don‘t know, he might be a shy type.
Gabriel suddenly showed up in front me. He suddenly handed me a new box of ointment as we sat down. I stared at him.
“For your face. You should treat it...” sabi niya.
“Thanks.” I said. Binuksan ko ito at nilagyan ‘yung mga paso sa braso ko.
“Let me help you...” sabi niya.
