Hashiru POV

As we were walking back to the leaf village with a sleeping Shikamaru on my back, Choji and Asuma are infront of me leading the way while Ino decides to walk beside me.

Ino: Sooo miss Hashiru? What do you think of Shikamaru??

She said smirking

Shikamaru POV

"Sooo miss Hashiru? What do you think of Shikamaru?" Was the first thing I hear while waking up. I couldn't help but act asleep wanting to know what she will say.

Hashiru: Okay.

Ino: Hm? Why such a cold response?

Hashiru: I... Don't really know how to respond less coldly. When I was a kid something happened that made my emotions disappear.

Ino: Oh.. uh sorry. But we'll try to help you! There is another person named Sai who has the same problem as you.

Hashiru: I guess.

Ino: I remembered Sai saying to me that he read something saying that another way to bring back your emotions is when a person loves you deeply.

Hashiru: Love?

Ino: Don't tell me you don't know what love is?! Love is... Love is when a person makes you feel like all your problems disappeared and the feeling of having butterflies on your tummy and when you want to spend time with that person forever.

Hashiru: I still don't get it.

Ino: Don't worry! You'll get it when Shikamaru makes a move.

I couldn't help but felt embarrassed but... Honestly I do want to make a move and be the person who can make her feel again. And with that, I fell asleep again.

Time Skip Still Shikamaru POV

I woke up still being carried but this time I was at the Hokage's office with my team and Hashiru.

Tsunade: Ahh Shikamaru is awake! I was about to explain something.

Shikamaru: What is it?

Tsunade: Well since you can't be able to move for one week, I've ask Hashiru to take care of you at your house for one week since your parents are not home for one week due to a meeting.

I looked at Hashiru smiling at me surprised that she agreed.

Shikamaru: Umm she doesn't need to take care of me really heh...

Tsunade: Hashiru is a specialist when it comes to healing poisons and plus it's also a mission. And here's your wheelchair so you won't have to be carried.

Hashiru placed me on the wheelchair and patted my head which made me chuckled.

Shikamaru: Thank you.

Hashiru: It's nothing.

She gives me a fake smile.

Time Skip Hashiru POV

As we were all walking outside the Hokage building while pushing Shikamaru on a wheelchair, I was about to ask him where his house is when I saw a kunai flying at the left side of my face. I stopped the kunai about an inch to the left side of my head using my right hand to trap the kunai in between my index and middle finger maintaining a bored expression while the rest of team 10 gasped Shikamaru even turned his head to me wide eyed.

We all looked to the left and saw a person who has black hair and pale face giving me a fake smile while leaning on a tree.

I threw the kunai back at him with high speed and I purposely miss to hit the tree beside his head. He got startled and his smile turned into a wide eyed shocked face almost not expecting it. Even team 10 was scared. The person walks towards me.
