Hayley's POV:

"Hayley, what are you doing?" Kendall asks me for the millionth time on this drive. If she wasn't the one behind the wheel I might be tempted to kick her seat.

My eyes stay glued to my phone screen as I say, "Watching qualifying, shut up."

"Is Liam going today too?" Bella asks next.

Bella is sitting to my right, Harry is to my left and Gigi is riding shotgun. Guess who got the middle seat because they're the shortest. Me! Guess who is trying to watch qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix on her phone but her friends won't leave her alone. Also me!

"He said he's going but we might not see him 'cause he'll be with his other friends, shut up."

I can hear my friends snickering and it's pissing me off. I'd love to get a muzzle for each of them— Did I mention I'm on my period? I'm irrationally pissed off right now and on top of that, I'm also getting incredibly anxious.

Yesterday was day one of Coachella and being on my period at Coachella has to be at the top of my list of things I hate. I was miserable practically all day, had to deal with cramps and then the long ass lines to the bathroom just to change my tampon. It was truly a monstrosity and I ended up leaving the festival before the headlining act because of how much pain I was in.

At least I got to see The 1975 though. Oh, and I also saw Jaden Smith after Kendall and Gi dragged us there, so it wasn't too bad of a day at some points.

"Hayley, will you marry me?" Harry is the next to ask me an annoying question.

Harry was supposed to join us for day one yesterday but his flight back to LA got delayed. He was in London during the week and was set to make it back in time to meet us at the Airbnb on Thursday afternoon, however due to his flight he got there a day late on Friday while we were already at the festival.

I barely pay attention as I respond, "Yes, shut up."

The car erupts in laughter and I want to find the nearest brick wall and smash my head against it repeatedly. It's only when Harry's question registers in my head do I break my concentration away from watching cars drive laps around a weird shape for sport.
