Lurking Trouble

Umuwi akong tulala pagkatapos ng nangyari.. Hindi ako nakatulog habang inaalala ang sinabi sa akin ni View.

Napahilamos na lang ako sa aking mukha dahil hindi ko na rin alam anong gagawin ko pagkatapos niya akong halikan.

I am surely in trouble because I am starting to expect again. "Hmm.. Himala at nandito ka." I was back to myself when I heard Kuya Harris' voice. I looked at him.

"Dinadalaw lang si Nanay." Sabi ko rito. My half brother just gave me a half smile. My brother used to hate me before but now, he changed because of his wife.

He suddenly asked for forgiveness and I immediately forgave him. Di ko naman kasi masisisi si Kuya. I was a product of my mother's unfortunate memory.

"Anak.." I immediately smiled when I saw my mom running towards me and she hugged me tightly.

"Ma.. I brought you gifts."

"Ahh.. Nag-abala ka pa." My mom smiled widely and kissed my forehead. "Saan na nga pala yung sabi mong crush mo? Akala ko ba kayo na nun?"

"Ano ma.. Nagpakipot. Break muna kami--"

"Bakit naging kayo ba?" Pambabara ni Kuya Harris sa akin.

I pouted while nanay and Kuya Harris chuckled at my reaction. "Oh siya.. Siya.. Pag naging kayo, dalhin mo rito."

"Nay.. Impossible yan, kilala ko yung crush niyan, hindi siya gusto." Dexie added.

"Ay totoo ba to, Geia?" Nanay asked.

"Wag kayo maniwala riyan, baliw na baliw sa akin yon, ma." I lied.

My nanay smiled, "Edi mabuti yan. Aalagaan ka dapat niya nang mabuti kundi bibigyan ko siya ng sapak sa mukha." I chuckled when Nanay said that. She is very protective of me and I am proud of what she becomes.

Ako kaya? Kailan kaya makikita ni View ang halaga ko? Yung tipong handa na akong iwasan siya dahil ayaw niya naman pala ako pero pinapaasa niya ako dahil sa halik na ginawa niya.

I need answers.. Mababaliw ako kung ako lang ba nag-iisip na baka may pag-asa ako sa lalaking mahal ko.

"Dadalhin ko iyon dito ma, kahit next week pa." Sana sumama ka View, kung hindi, ibla-blackmail kita.

He sighed the moment he knocked on the door. The signage was visible on the door, 'The doctor is in,' it says.

Pumasok siya sa loob, "Oh.. It's good to see you my dearest nephew!" It was his Tita, Jermaine Bellouni.

"Hi.." He awkwardly said.

His tita smiled. "So, you finally came to approach me. Is this the same problem? Are you really going to do some therapy sessions with me?" His tita asked.

"You're right.. I needed it." He said.

She smiled and gestured her hand on the sofa for a seat. "I thought you'd never come one day." Dala na nito ang isang notebook nito.

"I realize.. I am still affected." He confessed.

"Of course, you do. No one will be fine after experiencing horrible things. But what made you come back? I mean when it comes to decision making, your mind is always fixed and unchangeable. What influence your decision this time?" She asked.

"Someone.. Someone who wants me to get over my past and move forward." I replied.

"Alright. So, tell me your usual days. Do you have sleepless nights?" He nodded. "What are those?"
