Laura is driving home when she calls Casey
"Hello?" He answers
"Hey babe, sorry I know your at work but I wanted to ask you something?" Laura replies as she takes a turn
"Sure, what's up?" Casey adds
"Umm Hondo? Chris's boss dropped by today. Chris isn't doing great. He wants me to fly out for a week and see if everything's okay" Laura explains
"Of course you can go! You don't need my permission" Casey says as Laura hears the bells go off
"Sorry baby, gotta go" Casey says as he ends the call
Laura then calls Hondo and fills him in. She is flying out in 2 days which gives her barely any time to pack. Laura's not going to tell Casey about the baby until she gets back.
It's 2 days later and Laura is at the airport
"Be careful okay?" Casey says as he hands Laura her bag
"It's only for a week!" Laura adds as she smiles
"I've taken 2 weeks off for when you come back. And Emma is heading to Puerto Rico to spend a week with Gabby next week anyway" Casey explains
"That sounds great! Now I really need to catch this plane!" Laura says as she gives Casey a kiss
"I love you" Casey says as Laura pulls away
"I love you too! See you in a week!" Laura shouts as she hurries in
Laura boards the plane and 4 hours later she arrives at LAX. Luca is waiting for her
"Hey Laura!" Luca says as he pulls her in for a bear hug
"Hey!" Laura replies as he lets go off her
"A swat car really?" Laura adds
"Hey! Don't under estimate it!" Luca says as he stands next to the car(See Above)
Laura climbs in the car and she is driven to the station
"Does she know I'm coming?" Laura asks as Luca pulls into the station
"Not unless you've texted her" Luca says as he gets out the car
They walk in and are greeted by deacon
"Hey!" Deacon says smiling
"Hey!" Laura replies
"She really needs to talk to someone right now" Deacon says as he looks at Chris in the other room
"I'm on it" Laura says as she walks towards Chris
"Is this all you swat guys do is count bullets?" Laura asks as she stands at the door
"Laura?" Chris says as she turns around
"Hey you!" Laura says as she pulls her in for a hug
"What are you doing here!" Chris says enthusiastically
"Well I actually had a question to ask you?" Laura says as she sits down across from Chris
"Well? What is it?" Chris asks
"I need you to take some time off and fill in for some of your godmother duties" Laura says as she puts a hand on her belly
"No way!" Chris says enthusiastically
"Yes way! I'm pregnant!" Laura says as Chris runs over to her and pulls her in for a hug
"I'm so happy for you! Is it caseys?" Chris asks
"Yeah, but he doesn't know so don't tell him!" Laura says as she smiles
"Let's go tell the guys!" Chris says smiling
