"I never took you as a smoker" Amelia took a drag, followed by a sip of her second drink.

Natasha sighed, "I don't usually, but everything with Steve has been stressing me out. I just needed one to chill me out." she added.

"What's the deal with you two then. Bucky told me that you're kind of a thing..." Normally Amelia wouldn't ask such things, but she was trying to be friendly, and the fact that there was a fair bit of alcohol in her system.

Amelia noticed a smile grow across Nat's face, "I'm not too sure you know. I mean we've hooked up a couple times, and he's a really nice guy don't get me wrong, but I'm just not sure if he's what I want." The two started talking about Steve and Bucky, and the time that they've spent with them. Amelia really started to bond with her, even though Nat was practically ten years older than her, it seemed like they were best friends already.

Amelia sat back down next to Bucky, placing her hand on his inner thigh. He could feel himself tighten in his pants, having been teased by her before the party, he wanted her now more than ever.

"So, Amelia, how did you meet dear old Barnes here." Tony pipped up, making himself yet another drink.

Amelia laughed to her self thinking back, "He was stalking me in a café actually." Bucky started coughing, nearly chocking oh his drink, not expecting her choice of words.

"Okay, no, I wasn't stalking you. You just took caught me eye. And besides, after you fainted I couldn't just leave you there." He smirked, giving her a peck on the cheek. This was the first time he's shown any public affection with her, especially with everyone looking at them.

"You fainted?" Wanda said, after keeping to herself most of the night.

"Oh, yeah, it was nothing... really." Amelia tried to change the subject, not knowing if Bucky had told anyone what had happened between them. Bucky, Sam and Steve all exchanged a look across the room, a look on which Tony had picked up on.

"What was that? Why did you three just look at each other like that?" Tony pointed to each of them. Amelia could feel that there was already tension between Bucky and Tony.

"You're seeing things Tony, we didn't look at each other in any way." Sam sat up in his seat, sensing that something was going to set Bucky off.

"No, you did. It was more than just her fainting wasn't it, and you three are trying to cover it up." Tony's voice became spiteful, wanting to uncover what really happened. Amelia had became quiet, retreating back in her shell as she didn't like conflict. Bucky could tell that Tony had made her feel uncomfortable, which just provoked him more.

"Just drop it Tony, nothing happened." Bucky jaw clenched, as he became more protective over Amelia. He didn't want everyone knowing about it, he thought that they would try to get Amelia to do it again, especially Tony. He knew that it hurt Amelia last time she did it, and he didn't want that happening to her again.

Although Peter was young, he could tell that things were picking up, so he attempted to change the subject. "So, Mr. Stark, how's your project coming along? I heard that-" Tony had cut him off, pointing at him to be quiet.

"Not now kid, the grown-ups are talking." Peter sank back into his chair, looking over at Amelia who was fiddling with her sleeves. She looked back at him, as if to thank him for trying to divert the conversation.

"What did you do Barnes, huh? I bet you did something didn't you..." Tony sounded more mischievous this time, as if he was trying to get Bucky to react. Bucky's hand was on Amelia's leg, she could feel that he was shaking with anger, trying to to lash out. She had never seen him like this. She had only ever seen his sweet, sensitive side.

"I didn't do shit Tony!" Bucky spoke up through his teeth, his jaw still clenched tightly, trying to get a hold of himself.

"Leave it Tony, you've clearly had too much to drink." Steve Commented, his voice still sounding weak. Natasha stopped him from getting up and stopping Tony himself, he was in no condition to do so.

"Shut it Rogers! Unless you're gonna tell me what happened?" Steve became quiet again, not having the energy to fight back. Tony walked towards Amelia slowly. Bucky's grip tightened on her leg as Tony's face became more menacing. This time he was talking directly to Amelia, "I bet he hurt you, didn't he?" That was the last straw for Bucky. He couldn't have someone saying that he'd hurt his Doll, particularly because he knew he had in a way. Bucky shot up and grabbed Tony by his collar slamming him against the wall. His fist constricted, ready to give Tony what he deserved, not caring if Amelia saw him do it.

"BUCKY!" Amelia shrieked, not wanting him to hurt Tony, even though he had provoked him to do it. Bucky didn't listen to her. He pulled his arm back ready to swing at him. Peter and Wanda quickly rose up out of their seats, Peter stepped in front of Bucky, catching his vibranium first effortlessly. Wanda used her magic to hold Bucky's raging body back from attacking Tony any other way. Bucky was wrapped in a glowing red aura as he struggled, trying to move.

Bucky had lost control of himself, not hearing or paying attention to any of the others telling him to stop. Amelia began to freak out seeing him like that. Wanda was having to practically chock him with her powers to stop him from getting tony, Peter also doing his best to hold him back. "STOP! Stop it! Please, cant you see you're hurting him?!" Amelia cried at Wanda, begging her to let go of him. "WANDA PLEASE!" She begged one more, before Wanda rained her powers in, Bucky dropping to the floor on his hands and knees. The room went silent as they waited for him to do something.

"Buck..." Amelia softly approached him. She gently placed her hand on his shoulder. Bucky flinched at her touch, pulling back his fist automatically, before realising it was her and stopping himself. Amelia jolted back, for the first time she was actually feeling scared of him. The whole thing had brought back memories of what she had seen in his head. All the people he had killed and hurt. She knew that he wasn't like that anymore, but she couldn't help but feel scared in that moment.

Amelia ran out of the compound, being unable to breathe. Rain was pounding down around her as she fell to her knees sobbing. She couldn't control her feelings, all she could think about was Bucky's face, looking like he would actually kill Tony. Her feelings became overwhelmed from the flashbacks of Bucky's mind, being able to feel everything he once did. The harsh rain felt oddly comforting to her in that moment. She managed to get her breathing back under control by focusing on the sound of the rain. Amelia just sat there, in the middle of the ground sobbing.
