14- conversations and confirmation

you're woken up by your cat jumping on your bed.

as you open your eyes, you see vinnie still on facetime.

he never hung up.

you see vinnie asleep.

he had set up his phone they same way you did, so you could see each other.

picking up your phone, you check the time.

9:00am.

looking at vinnie again, you put yourself on mute so you don't wake him up.

with him still on facetime, you do your normal morning routine.

once you're done, you look at him again.

not wanting to wake him, you end the call although all you wanted to do was talk to him.

you text him to let him know why you ended it.

"morning:) i hung up so i wouldn't wake u"

after pressing send, you go downstairs.

walking into the living room, you see your mom sitting on the couch drinking a cup of coffee.

seeing her made your stomach drop.

you knew you had to have the conversation with her.

this conversation could change your future.

your future with fame.

your future with new friendships.

your future with vinnie.

taking a step forward, it makes your mom look up.

"can we please talk now?"

"sit down."

you walk over to where she's sitting and sit right next to her.

"first, i want to apologize for lashing out on you. i wasn't mad at you. it was just in the moment i didn't know how to comprehend what you told me. i know that it's going to be hard for me, but all i want for you is for you to be happy. and if moving to LA makes you happy then i want you to do it. i can always visit."

"wait really?"

"yes y/n. really."

she smiles at you and pulls you in for a hug.

that hug felt nice.

it was reassuring that you knew that everything was alright with you two.

"i have one requirement."

uh oh.

"what is it?"

"i'm going with you when you move to help you bring all of your stuff over. and i want to meet everyone to make sure they're good people."

"i'm sure thomas would be fine with that. i know you're going to love them. kouvr is so nice. she's like a bestfriend to me already. and her boyfriend alex, he's so sweet. thomas and mia are amazing too. and vinnie, he's the sweetest person i've ever met."

"vinnie. is there something going on between you two?"

"nope. just friends."

"so you're really thinking of moving there within the next two weeks?"

"that's what i was planning on doing. is that to early?"
