your eyes are locked together.

after what felt like hours making eye contact with vinnie, you snap out of it.

you politely wave and sit down in the only open seat which is next to kouvr.

which also happens to be right across from vinnie.

kouvr turns to you, immediately starting a conversation although you find it hard not to look and see if vinnie is watching.

"i think you'll have a lot of fun with us this weekend."

you smile and turn back so you're facing vinnie.

once facing forward you look up and catch vinnie staring.

once he noticed you saw him he immediately whipped his head down, looking at the menu again.

he's different that i thought.

everyone around the table creates small talk with you but not vinnie.

all he does is talk to michael.

you always see them making tik toks together so you're not suprised that they are close, you just didn't think that he would only talk to him.

the waiter comes and everyone orders their food.

once it finally is your turn, you order.

"i'll have steak, potatoes, and a side salad please."

as the waiter moves along to the next person, you catch vinnie looking at you again.

you softly smile at him, and he does it back.

there's the boy that everyone sees on social media.

alex leans past kouvr to talk to you.

"so how do you like LA so far?"

"it's pretty cool. it's definitely much different than where i live."

"are you planning on coming to the hype house after this?"

"that's the plan."

you smile and talk to kouvr again.

kouvr reminded you alot of daria.

it gave you a sense of peace.

after talking to kouvr for a bit, everyones food finally arrived.

mia takes a photo of her food and immediately uploads it to her instagram story.

thomas kiddingly makes fun of her, but she doesn't mind.

as you all are eating, you hear vinnie say something.

"fletchers here."

fletcher is the man behind hollywood fix, a paparazzi account that follows tik tokers everywhere and is always in their business.

he walks up to the table with a massive camera.

you aren't used to that and it makes you a little uncomfortable.

vinnie notices.

fletcher starts talking to thomas.

"hey man what are you up to tonight?"

"just eating here with all of them like usual."

"nice, nice. do you have any new projects coming up?"
