Mia pov

Looking at myself in the mirror I couldn't say I was best in fashion because my sweats were assembled on a regular day, but I did have taste in getting dressed for work. I chose a grey blouse that cut right before it would show too much cleavage with a black blazer to go with it, And then some black trousers and heels.

I mean I think I looked good enough, though some second hand reassurance would be nice right now. Unfortunately mom's not awake nor here and I wasn't the kind to keep up with friends after school, but being alone isn't all that bad since I don't have to clean up for anybody but myself.

I fixed a necklace and some clip-on earrings. I was never a fan of pain and mom made the right decision not getting them when I was younger. Could've led to an infection or something.

I walk out my room into the living room seeing everything in order so I just fluff the pillows having gotten done much earlier than I needed to be.And thankfully my alarm goes off soon telling me it's time to go creating an excited smile on myself.

I quickly leave, grabbing my purse that I unnecessarily reorganised last night and leaving into the parking lot to find my car. I haven't even used it since I bought it as having stores in walking distance created no use, but Lin and Write Is is a small distance but still far away.

I can't lie that I must've looked like an old woman waving my key around, pressing the unlock button and walking slowly until I could see any headlights light up but it's the truth. It was just a grey Nissan Sentra, nothing special, but it was the perfect car in my eyes. Simply to just get me from destination a to b.

After getting in I spent no time backing up and leaving, not wanting to waste any time to get there. I looked up Write Inc., which is how I found out that wasn't the recent name, and did my research. There wasn't much on the owner of the company except for her name, Alina Write.

Making a turn I follow onto the highway laughing as I see someone cut off another car flipping them off. It's very peaceful here so that's the first altercation I've seen since i've moved, but expect the unexpected i guess.

After a few miles I could clearly see the building as I got off the freeway leaning up to the wheel to see it only getting taller the closer I got. And after a few turns I drove into the lot stopping just to stare at the building.

I bet if i could get here early then i would definitely get a good picture of the sunrise on the top, if i get the job that is.

Refocusing, I find a park and wonder why there aren't that many people here before walking into the place. The lobby surprised me seeing at how huge it was, but a few shops I've never heard of aligned in the middle, but my amazement subdued for a moment by a random voice.

"Can I help you or are you another lost tourist," I turn around to find the most uninterested eyes I've seen on someone placed on this man who looks to either be having a bad morning or who's just not so fond of them.

"I'm looking for Mrs. Keller, I have an interview with her for eight", He looks down and I guess he could be checking the time.

Yes I know I'm at least thirty minutes early but being cautious has never wronged me and I could probably roam the place before my meeting too.

"Alright so Mia? She's on the fifteenth floor, but take the elevator on the right of the building", I turn and look around for a moment having a question in mind before he stops me,"Do not wander around, usually the security is here by six but there out for breakfast and are only a call away. If you get the job you'll be given some sort of pass before you get a more official one, understood?"

I nod knowing this guy could either be a pain in my rear or someone to help in the future so i best not get on his bad side just as i'm starting. He fakely smiles and I walk off going to wait by the right hand elevators. I wonder why i have to specifically take these ones

When one finally reaches the lobby floor I get on riding the way up and at one point the walls surrounding the elevator, probably at the tenth floor, turn to glass showing a nice view. It was so mesmerizing I had to force myself away when the elevator stopped.

When I got off the top floor, it looked like it consisted of closed-off offices with one see-through meeting room. Though my peering halts when I hear Mrs. Keller's infectious laugh.

I turn to find her behind a desk that all but hides her except the top of her head which I could make out by her light brown hair. I walk further towards the area hearing her place the phone down, getting up with a box and a few papers in her hand, but she drops them all screaming when she sees me.

I'm so taken aback by the sound, feeling as if a car's alarm just sounded for a clear second seeing her place her hand over her heart,"God Mia make yourself known! I could have hit you or something."

I find it funny thinking she couldn't even harm a fly as round the desk to bend down and pick up what she dropped,"Sorry, I didn't want to interrupt what you were doing."

"More importantly you're early, but that only means we can be ahead of the schedule. So um...", She pointed to the same meeting room I looked at scrunching her nose,"I gotta go get the boss as she'll be attending but I'll be interviewing you. And it'll only take a second or two hopefully." I feel a bit more tense knowing that but I guess it's just mandatory or something, nothing wrong with it I guess.
