"Next" I said leaning on the chair while on my phone

The girl that was with Mari walked up to me sitting in the chair.

"Hey what's your name?" I asked being polite

"Cameron" she said

"Cute, this your first time here?" I asked

"Yes my friend put me on she said you the best here"

"Well that's up to you" I said

"So you like different colors too?" I asked pulling out a purple wig

"Actually this my first time trying color" she told me "you think it's too much?"

"No girl you gone look pretty, especially cause I'm doing it" I chuckled "darkskin with purple hair, ok wokeisha"

"Wasn't even thinking about that" she laughed

Her hair was already braided down which I was happy about. When my clients come in ready to get their hair did is the best.

I still like to scalp braid from time to time but that adds so much more time. But hey that's a hairstylist life for you.

A couple minutes later of me doing her hair she called Mari over.

"I'm hungry" she said

"What that got to do with me?" He asked

"Mari don't be rude" I chimed in

"Yea but she mean" he shrugged "what you want"

"That's not hungry" he scrunched his nose up

"Just go get my food" she rolled her eyes and he left

"He know my folks" I kept it simple

"This city suppose to be big but looking small as hell" she said

I just laughed not knowing what to say after that. Morgan and Lani walked in coming directly to my section.

"What's up cousin" Lani nod

"When you leave?" Lani asked

"This my last head" I told her
