• Is Luca going to start school this year?

Nope, Luca isn't old enough to start school just yet! Luca is only 15 months old 💙 I know some people send their one years old to school or daycare but I wouldn't feel comfortable sending him this young.

We might send him to Headstart when he is two years old just like we did with Theodore and Harlow but we will see! 🥰

• Who's birthday is next in the family?

Dobby and Sammy's birthdays are next! Our August babies 🐶🐶

Dobby's birthday is August 5th and Sammy's birthday is August 21st!

• Have you learned anything new during the pandemic?

This isn't exactly new but I have been into playing piano again! I played piano a little bit as a child but I stopped due to being into gaming. Benji, Coralei and Averie have been learning with me as well! Luca really loves to just bang on the keys 😂

• Is Averie going into kindergarten or another year or pre-k? I remember you say she might be behind.

Averie will be going into kindergarten! With a lot of work and determination we got her all caught up with her peers.

Averie never went to school or daycare before until she came into our family last year. She was excited/terrified to start school last year. RJ and I really worked with her at home and so did her incredible pre-k teachers to make sure she was ready for kindergarten. And if she wasn't ready that was fine too!

We also got her officially diagnosed with Autism so she will have some services to help her in school!

• What are you guys having for dinner tonight?

@damitrj is making us some sriracha chicken! RJ, Bubba, Coralei, Averie and I will eat this! Theodore, Harlow and Luca aren't spicy food fans so they will have chicken nuggets! 😊

• I saw that you wrote something about Benji's maternal great grandma. Is she okay?

She is doing well right now, thank you so much for asking about her! Benji's maternal family is our family and we are very close ❤️Benji's maternal great grandma Luciana (who Benji and the rest of our kids call bisabuela which is great grandma in Spanish) was diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks ago 😔

She has been doing chemo and will be finished with chemo right before Christmas and then she will have a double mastectomy and finally radiation. She caught it very early and is getting a double mastectomy as a preventative measure so it doesn't come back.

• Does Benji still have PTSD flashbacks?

Benji has not had many PTSD flashbacks for the past year 🙌🏻 Maybe one or two which is such a wonderful improvement!

Benji still does not like the smell of fire, but now he can sit by a fire pit or camp fire and does well. Benji has also learned how delicious s'mores are when made with a fire.

• What is RJ doing while you are doing the Q&A?

RJ is currently laying on the couch after putting some Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment on his brand new tattoo he got today! 😍 His tattoo looks so good I can'f wait for you guys to see it!
