Saving Belle

Chapter 30

Xander's POV: 

I fucked up. 

I fucked up big time. 

I never wanted to scare her ever again. 

I can't believe she thought I was going to hit her. 

When we got out of the car she was holding onto Mason. 

She walked on the opposite side of me. 

We walked into the house and Mason took her into the kitchen. 

"He did what?!" I heard Ian kind of yell. 

Ian came marching out of the kitchen. 

"Why in the world would you yell at Belle?!?" He yelled at me. 

"I know I'm sorry. I lost control." 

"This is old Xander type shit." 

"Wanna keep it down out there?" Leo popped his head out and said. 

I got up and left for a drive. 

Leo's POV: 

When Belle came through the kitchen door clutching onto Mason, I knew something bad happened. 

"What happened?" 

"A lot, but right now Xander yelled at Belle for something." Mason said.

"He did what?!" Ian yelled. 

Both Liam and Belle flinched. 

What happened while they were gone?

Liam usually doesn't flinch anymore. 

"So what happened?" I asked. 

There was a long pause. 

"We ran into my Dad.." Liam said looking really unsettled. 

"What?" 

"Yeah, he knew Belle." 

Fuck. Belle saw him.

Belle is shaking and just hanging onto Mason. 

She hasn't taken her eyes off of the ground.  

"Belle, kiddo are you ok?"

She didn't respond, but she sniffled a little and wiped the tears out of her eyes. 

"Oh kiddo, come here." I said and held my arms out for her.

She ran into my arms and it was one of the first hugs I've gotten from her. 

The only other time was when Xander first saw her scars. 

"Why was he there?..." 

Later that day Enzo came home. 

Liam filled him in. 

His face turned red with anger. 

Liam got really freaked out by that so Mason took over. 

"Excuse me." Enzo said walking away into his office. 

She hasn't said a word for 2 days. 

I don't know what to do. 

She avoids Xander like the plague. 

"Belle please I'm sorry. I got overwhelmed and I yelled. I didn't want to scare you." Xander said as she left the room in a hurry. 

That dog follows her everywhere. 

She loves that thing. 

She hasn't been watching her show either. She just hides in her room reading all day. 

I followed her up to her room. 

"Hey Belle wanna come to work with me today?" 

She shakes her head. 

"Come on you'll be doing the same thing you're doing here, just at my shop. "

A/N- I don't know if I already said this or not, but if not Leo is a tattoo artist.

She nods her head. 

"Perfect, grab whatever you'll need to be occupied." 

Xander's POV: 

Belle has been avoiding me. 

I obviously don't blame her, but I miss hanging out with her. 

Everyone is mad at me. 

I'm mad at me.
