Chapter 11

Recap-"I-I've never w-watched TV before c-coming here." She said.

I felt myself getting angry again, but I have to suppress it. At least for now.

"Well now you can whenever you want." I told her.

Xander's POV:

Belle went to sleep, and Ian went out with friends. 

I'm just laying on my bed looking at the ceiling. 

After about an hour of rotating between looking at the ceiling and playing on my phone I hear screaming down the hall.

It sounds like Belle. 

I run down to her room and throw her door open. 

I expected to see someone hurting her, but I saw her in her bed thrashing around and scratching at her throat.

I stood there frozen for a second before running over to her.

I grabbed her hand pulling them away from her.

"PLEASE! I'M SORRY. I won't do it again please, please, PLEASE!"

She screamed. 

"Belle wake up, you're safe." I tried telling her. 

"I CAN'T, PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME. I'M SORRY." 

What happened to her. 

She's 15. 

"NO! MOM HELP, Don't let him do this to me!" 

"Belle wake up!" I yelled while shaking her. 

Her eyes shot open. She scrambled to the corner of the bed. 

"I-I-I'm s-sorry, I-I didn't m-mean to. P-Please..." She said with tears 

"Belle...I'm not going to hurt you..." I told her.

She thought I was going to hurt her. 

"I-I'm s-sorry, i-it wo-won't happen a-again." 

"It's ok, and it's ok if it happens again, you're not in trouble." 

She was shaking with fear.

"What happened." I asked scared for the answer. 

she shook her head. 

"Belle did he...did Mark touch you?" 

She shook her head. 

"Did someone else?" 

She hugged her knees to her chest and and nodded her head a little. 

I took a deep breath to keep myself from losing my temper. 

"I'm so sorry we weren't there to protect you."

She stayed silent. 

"Do you want to be left alone?" I asked. 

She shook her head no. 

"Ok I'm just going to call Leo to come home, and then do you want a hug?" 

She nodded. 

I called Leo.

"What's up man?" He said chuckling. 

"I need you to come home." I told him.

"What happened." He asked concerned.

"Belle had a nightmare, but it was bad."

"How is she?" 

"Bad, really bad."

"Shit Ok man, I'm on my way." 

Leo's POV: 

I was hanging out with my friends just drinking and smoking, when Xander called.

While I was on the phone my friends were looking confused and concerned. 

When I hung up the questions started. 

First one came from Theo. "Who was he talking about?" 

"So something I never told you guys about, is that I have a sister. It's a really hard thing to talk about in my family, and last week she came back to live with us. So I gotta go."

"Wait what's the story then?" Theo asked 

"My Mom took my sister after she was born. She wasn't a great Mom to my sister so she came to live with us. Enzo is now her legal guardian."

"I wanna meet her." Jack said. 

"Maybe another time it's late." 

"It was abuse wasn't it?" Isaac asked.

"...Yeah.."

"Go take care of her, but we want to meet her." Isaac told me.
