Chapter one

Ava

I woke up from my loud alarm clock I try to reach for it but then it fell on the ground "ughh" I get up and do my daily routine even though I didn't have all my stuff I still had to go to school.

Which I hated because no one wants to be named the school nerd again, the only reason we moved was because my mom and dad Got a divorce and now I'm living with my dad which is nice.

My mom didn't even care about me anyways
Her drunk self doesn't deserve a family

It was better like this. Yeah. Better

I smiled

I got dressed and went downstairs. I saw my dad making breakfast "morning honey" he said "morning" I smiled a little maybe this will be good for me.

To start fresh

I ate my breakfast and got my things I needed and got in my car. I drive off to school hoping i won't get jumped.

Woah I didn't know my school was huge.

I parked close to the school so it wouldn't be so far away when I leave. I grabbed my bag, my phone and got inside when I walked in i could see lots of people looking at me but I ignore them and try to find a way to the office.

I go in and ask for my schedule and started to walk out I run into this girl who was walking by and I asked her where room 205 was she was so sweet "205 is on your left and I'm about to go there wanna come with?" She asked  "yeah thanks" I smile "so are you new here or something?"

"Yeah I'm new I just moved here" "oh that's why I didn't recognize you well my name is Amaya" "nice to meet you Amaya I'm Ava" "nice to meet you to Ava" she smiled we got in the class room and we sat next to eachother.
First day. Not so bad I guess

"So Ava where are you from?" " Central City"
"I love central city I visit there all the time!" She said while smiling. "Yeah me too. So Amaya I know this is a weird question but can I sit next to you at lunch I just have no one to sit next to" "yeah of course I can even introduce you to my friends" "okay wait do we have the same classes together?" "Hm let me see your schedule" I handed her my schedule

"we have homeroom together and 3 other classes but not all of them"
"at least we got some together" I smiled. Looking at her brown chocolate eyes and wavy hair that matches her white long sleeve v neck shirt, with leggings topped with her gold necklace

She was the same height as me and had gorgeous golden brown skin with a perfect smile

When i blanked I suddenly saw her get hit with a paper ball "oh my bad" I turned to the person he had slicked hair back to the side and looked muscular with a tight jaw line wearing a black n white football jersey. He looked at me weirdly and I turned around fast

And put all my focus on my hands as I bite my lip

I was sitting in class trying to pay attention to the teacher but I was way too excited about lunch until I Heard the door open "miss me?" the blonde girl said while a cocky grin shows up on her face
"miss Evans it's nice of you to finally join us" the teacher said while Rolling her eyes. "Go have a seat"
I just looked at her as she came my way sitting down next to me "a picture lasts longer" she turned her head to me, looking at me with her blue eyes. I looked away blushing looking at the board, When class was finally over it was lunch time.

And thank god it was.

I went to the lunch room and seen Amaya I walked tortures her "hey Ava!" She said with a smile on her face "hi" "Ava theses are my friends that's Nora and Zari" she saids as she points to them. "Hi" I wave my hand "guys this is Ava-" "ava wheeler" I say
"It's nice to meet you" Nora saids "you too" I say "come sit" zari saids with a smile on her face.

I looked over at zari she had a Red and black flannel shirt with black jeans. Her dark brown long hair in a ponytail curled up. And sun kissed glowing skin, It really popped her brown eyes

I sat down "so ava where are you from?" Zari asked "Central City" "why would you moved here? central city is so peaceful, even I wish I could move there" Nora saids "yeah well my mom and dad got a divorce so I had to moved but um yeah" I say looking down at my food "omg I'm so sorry I didn't know" "its alright" I half-smile

But then I heared a loud laugh I turned my head around to see the blue eyed girl again with her friend Group "um who are they?" I asked looking at them one of the girls looked like Amaya "oh that's just Sara Evans and her friends" Amaya saids "she was in my class" I said "wait really?" Nora and Zari looked at me  "Yeah what is it a bad thing?" "No it's just your lucky" "she famous and she rich n shit so she's barely in anybody's classes" Amaya saids

"Nora even hangs out with them sometimes because she's dating ray" "Nora why ain't you sitting with them?" I ask "because I will never leave my best friends" she smile's. "Yeah the girl in a Punk outfit is my twin sister Charlie" "That's why she looks like you" I say "Ha yeah." she saids with a smile

Sara looked over to us she Winked at me with her pretty baby blue eyes. I turn my head back around "She really looks hot" Did I say that out loud? "yeah but you don't wanna mess with her she can really be rude" zari saids "I bet. if I looked that hot and I could be all of that I would be to" I say they just chuckled

I turn my head to Nora "so who's ray?" She turns her head around "the guy next to Nate the one with the tight jaw"

I turn once again and seeing ray he looks like a big softy, I mean what whatever keeps you happy I guess

When I came home from school and I ran upstairs to just plop down on my bed "ughh" "I'm sooo tired" my dad wasn't home yet not until dinner. I undo my Converse high tops, pulling them off then swiping off my skirt leaving me with my panties on. I move to my drawers and pull out some black shorts with a oversized shirt

I pulled out the white bow I put in my hair and grabbing a Scrunchie putting my hair up in a ponytail

I went downstairs waiting for my dad in the living room watching Netflix and I heard the door open I look over to see my dad "hey honey" "hey daddy" I smiled "how was your day?" "It was good i made friends" "see I told you everything was going to be okay"

"Yeah well I think this is going to be good for us"
"you really think so?" "Yeah" I said with a big proud smile on my face I had spent the night with my dad we were laughing and talking about our day's.

Yeah I think I like this.
