CHAPTER 28

Y/N's POV

TIME SKIP

You were at the other side of the wall as Hange and her squad searched for Bertholdt.

Infront of you was a beast titan who's Leisurely throwing boulders at your direction, The only protection you had was the remaining houses

Many of the new recruits had died because of the boulders

You , Levi and Erwin were planning on taking down that beast inorder to achieve your plan

"I've killed so many soldiers because of my goal , I stood above the pile of the scouts that I've sacrificed just to achieve my goal , Our goal" Erwin stated , tears threatening to escape his eyes "Erwin , Give up on your dreams and die" Levi said which shocked you

"Levi?! what the hell are you sa-" Before you could even finish what you were saying your brother stood up and reached both of his hands out to yours and Levi's shoulders "Ah, Maybe that's the only choice I have left" He replied "E-Erwin? Don't tell me..." You tried your best not to cry

Before he could say anything , You noticed a barrel falling down from the sky , Thunderbolts started to surround it indicating that a titan shifter is about to transform.

Reinier is already there so does this mean..."Bertholdt!" You suddenly shouted but before you could even do anything about it , You heard a loud explosion , It had a great impact and for sure, whoever was around it's transformation could've been killed

"No no no! Hange's there" You shouted , Tears started to stream down your face "Please be alive, I've just gotten you back , Please be alive" You teared up immensely

"Y/N, I'm sure Hange's gonna be alright , Now let's fight that beast titan and finish this war" Levi stated even though he knew that no one could ever survive that huge explosion

"The remaining cadets over there! get your horses!" Erwin shouted as they obeyed him immediately

"W-what are you planning?" You said as he mounted his horse "Y/N, I want you to be the one who will achieve our goal , I want you to do it for me and for dad. Always remember that I would always love you" He said "W-what? Aren't you supposed to be there with me? once we reach the basement?" You asked and he just shrugged and smiled

"Levi , Y/N ,I need the two of you to attack the beast titan as we distract him , Use the titans around him to get closer" He said as he positioned him self in front of the many new recruits

"B-but" "Just do it!" He said before pushing you away to Levi

"Everything that you thought had meaning: every hope, dream, or moment of happiness. None of it matters as you lie bleeding out on the battlefield. None of it changes what a speeding rock does to a body, we all die. But does that mean our lives are meaningless? Does that mean that there was no point in our being born? Would you say that of our slain comrades? What about their lives? Were they meaningless?... They were not! Their memory serves as an example to us all! The courageous fallen! The anguished fallen! Their lives have meaning because we the living refuse to forget them! And as we ride to certain death, we trust our successors to do the same for us! Because my soldiers do not buckle or yield when faced with the cruelty of this world! My soldiers push forward! My soldiers scream out! My soldiers RAAAAAGE!"

That was your brother's last words as you shed in tears while maneuvering your way to the beast titan.

You're eyes went wide as you saw how the boulder that he threw went through your brother's stomach

You wanted to go there so bad but you fought the urge to do so as you used your anger to kill the titans that surrounded him along with Levi

You and Levi weren't even visible because of how fast you spun your selves

The beast titan noticed that the titans beside him were dead and before he could do anything about it , You and Levi charged at him , Levi attacking from his left and you from his right

"YOUU BASTARD! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" You shouted as You blinded him with your blades , After that, Levi and You Cut his legs off , Thus making him fall

The next thing you did was cut open his nape , together with his limbs , Levi pried him out of his titan

You draw your blades into his neck, Fighting every urge to take his life then and there

"Levi , do you have the serum with you?" I asked and he nodded "Great There's still hope , Let's feed this bastard to a soldier who's still al-" Before you could finish what your saying, A titan in all fours got Zeke out of your hands

You tried to run after it but Levi stopped you "There's no point on running after them" He said "Let's meet up with the others" He added as the two of you shot yourselves back to Shiganshina

"Levi , Do you think Hange made it out of the explosion?" Your voice was trembling "I-I don't know Y/N , I'm sorry" He honestly said as you felt your body weakened

Please not you too, I've already lost one of the most important person in my life, I can't afford to lose two , I might.... not be able to handle it
