CHAPTER 20

Hanji's POV

please Y/N be safe , Be alive please . Just wait for me wait for us

Erwin gave orders to mine and Levi's squad to go to the capital but the three of us went to a different place .

"This maybe a trap , What if they're just louring us into their trap? What if they brought Y/N into a more hidden place?!" Erwin mumbled after reading the note , "Hanji and Levi squad , Go to the capital and try to find Y/N there" He ordered and they immediately obeyed as they went to the stables to get their horses "Levi, Hanji the two of you , come with me . I have a hunch that they've brought Y/N into a hidden place in the forest"  He said

And That is the reason why we've been walking around the woods for almost an hour now.

I'm starting to think that Y/N really is in the capital . "Hey Erwin-" Before I could finish what I was saying , We heard something from the nearby bush "Y/N?!" Erwin shouted but no one answered "Let's check that bush, I could've sworn I heard it moved" I told them and that's what we did.

To our surprise , We saw Y/N laying there , unconscious . Her face was bruised and the rest of her body was filled with wounds and Injuries. "Holy shit , who did this to her?!" I muttered.

Erwin immediately hugged his sister "Y/N be alive please , Don't die on us please" He shouted as he placed his head on her chest "Thank god your alive" He whispered . I approached Y/N and placed two of my fingers in her pulse "Erwin her pulse , Her heartbeat is dangerously slow . We have to take her to a hospital quickly" I told him and he carried her as we went towards our horses

After a few hours, We reached the headquarters. We saw My squad and Levi squad standing outside , waiting for us "Y/N!" Armin shouted once he saw us entering "Arlert , you and the others can rest now" Levi stated "But captain, Bad news , Eren and historia got captured by the military police" He said "Gather in the meeting room and wait for us" He commanded and they immediately obeyed

Meanwhile , We reached the infirmary . Erwin laid his unconscious sister on one of the beds "Hanji , check for broken bones or other injuries
on her body and give her immediate treatment!" He commanded and I nodded as both of them went out the room.

I proceeded on checking Y/N's body for injuries and I found out that her left arm is dislocated , She had wounds that needs to be stitched up and lastly ,Her ankle is sprained.

"I swear if I found out who did this to you-" Before I could finish what I was saying, Rico Brzenska came storming in the room "Y/N ! Thank goodness your sa-" She stopped talking after noticing me standing beside her girlfriend "Ah-didn't see you there Section commander" She said while looking away from me "I-it's fine , Erwin told me to check on her. She has a few minor injuries" I informed her "Ah alright , are you gonna-" I knew what she was gonna say so I immediately replied "I just have to stitch up some of her wounds and I'll be going" I replied , My tone comming out more irritated than intended "good" She shortly replied and It pissed me off

"What do you mean by that Brzenska?!" I asked , sounding slightly angry "Good , I want to have some time alone with my GIRLFRIEND" she said , emphasizing the word girlfriend

Before I could shot back at her , We heard Y/N's grunt "Y/N? are you awake?!" I immediately asked "H-Hanji? Where am I?" she asked , still half asleep. Then she immediately sat up "Fuck their gonna get me!" She shouted in panic. Before I could make a move , Brzenska made her way towards Y/N. tch , as if she was really there to save Y/N . She was fast asleep while Y/N was out there for god sake

"Shh Your safe now Y/N , No one's gonna get you" She whispered in Y/N's while she's ruffling her hair. I cleared my throat to inform the "love birds" about my presence . Y/N turned her head towards my direction and looked at me straight in the eye. "Hanji" She whispered weakly which made my heart break "I need to stitch her up miss Brzenska , If you don't mind" I said while walking towards Y/N.

Not gonna lie , I'm so fucking jealous right now. I wanted that to be me , I wanted to be the one comforting her , I wanted to be the one who's hugging her. I wanted to be with her badly

"Rico , I'll meet you at our spot later" Y/N stated as Rico smiled and nodded before kissing Y/N in the cheek.

It hurts me a lot to see another girl kissing Y/N , even if it's just on the cheeks , It's unbearable for me to watch so I just looked away. Finally , Rico made her way out of the infirmary .

"Hanji, I-it's so nice to see you"
Y/N whispered softly "Aren't you mad at me?" I asked her , while avoiding eye contact "I was" She replied "But now , all I can think of is you" She added which made butterflies flutter inside my stomach , I felt heat rose to my cheeks. It felt so right , Yet so wrong. why did you have to be with Brzenska

I sighed from my thought. I was done stitching her up so I went to fix the tools that I used when I noticed Y/N staring at me "Uh- Is there something on my face?" I asked her still avoiding eye contact "Ah sorry for staring , I just can't help it . I mean , It's been a month since I looked at your beautiful face" She muttered

did she hit her head or something? Why is she acting like this? It's so unusual. Not that I'm complaining though

"Why are you being like this?" I whispered under my breath but enough for her to hear. But when I looked at her , She was already making her way towards me , Not caring about her injuries

"Y-Y/N , You shouldn't be getting up from bet yet . You're still not o-" Before I could finish my statement , She did something I never thought she'd do
