Hanji's POV
Y/N only talked to me and Levi ever since that war in Shiganshina.
She wasn't her old self for she lost that sparkle in her eyes , We all know she's hurt from the lost of her brother , The only family she has left. She was devastated and Broken , But we always did our best to comfort her
She often visited the cemetery , Where her brother and father was and today, Levi and I decided to come with her
"Erwin , Why did you leave me? I thought the both of us will uncover the truth , you told me that we'd celebrate after that but why aren't you here with me? Why am I the only one who achieved our goal? It was our mission remember?" She sobbed immensely which made my heart break
It also hurts me , Not only because of loosing Erwin but also because of loosing my assistant , My bestfriend , I lost Moblit. He was very faithful to me until the very end, I also loosed my whole squad but I had to stay strong , For I am now the commander of the survey corps
Heavy rain started to pour out from the sky as I let the tears that I had held back for a long time, fall out of the only eye I have left.
Levi walked towards Y/N as he held her shoulder , She couldn't help but cry out all the pain.
I walked towards them as the three of us comforted each other , Anger and sadness was the only thing left to feel but I chose to remember how much I love Y/N which kept me going on.
Y/N's POV
I ranted all of my frustrations in front of my brother's grave , I've been like this for who knows how long but I didn't know how to move on ,I didn't want to. It hurts, It hurts so much.
"I've lost my brother , Why couldn't I protect him?! , Why couldn't I be strong?! It's all my fault!" I cried aloud , Levi and Hanji held me close , The three of us cried out all of the pain we felt
"It's not your fault Y/N , don't blame your self" Hanji stated , Hiccuping through the process , "But , I-" Before I could finish what I was saying , I felt Levi's palm slapped the hell out of me whilst making me realize that this was reality and I can't do anything about it
"L-Levi" I whispered as I placed my hand on the spot that he just slapped "D-Do you think Erwin would be happy when He finds out that you're blaming yourself?! Do you think we had a choice?! You weren't weak Y/N , Everyone saw how you fought during the battle . Now , This is the aftermath and the only choice we have left is to move on!" He shouted , Of course Levi was also hurting. All of us were
He knew he had the choice but he didn't choose my brother , It brings him so much pain knowing that Erwin and him should've been together if it wasn't for this shitty world we leave in , He knew that He could've spent his whole life with his Soulmate , My brother , If we were free. If only the power of the titans didn't exist
"Y/N , We should head back and move forward , Please don't keep your self locked up in anger , You have to move on for Erwin" Hange stated as she wrapped her arms around my shoulders thus making me stand.
"I-I guess your right" I replied as we maid our way towards our horses
We rode side by side as the three of us watched the sunset , It was peaceful, It eased the pain I was feeling just a little bit.
"We're going to venture outside the walls next week" Levi stated once we've entered HQ "Which means we have a week of rest" Hanji added whist linking her arms into yours
"Thanks for being here for me you two , I might have lost my sanity if you weren't here" I stated as the two gently smiled
"Well, I'd be going now. I need to look out for my squad" Levi stated as he walked the other direction, You waved your hand at his direction
Erwin , I promise to avenge you
I'd kill that beast who took you away from us
"I'd kill that monkey who killed Erwin, I'd torture him and decapitate him. I also swear to kill those traitors, Reinier and Leonheardt" I mumbled , Hanji gently squeezed my elbows thus making me calm down
"Y/N , I'm sure Erwin and your father is very happy that we've uncovered the truth about these titans so please , We know that you're angry . Infact we all are , As we've lost our loved ones from the war. Use that anger to fuel you and keep moving forward" Hange said , You smiled. You haven't been smiling since that war but now you were , Because of her. Because of her words
"thanks for being here bae" You said before gently kissing her lips.
