CHAPTER 23

Hanji's POV

I made my way out of Y/N's room to go the meeting room. I heard from Levi that we'll talk about how we'll retrieve Eren and Historia.

I entered the room without even knocking but no one minded "Took you long enough" Levi muttered "So what's our plan?" I asked "Let's go to pastor Nick , He may know something about the Reiss family" He said as we all stood up "You know what , Hanji , You should go with Moblit we'll stay here and wait for you" Erwin commanded and so I obeyed

Before I go and call on Moblit , I decided to stop over Y/N's room first.

When I got there , She was asleep
So I wrote a letter and left if on her bedside table. I fixed the blanket over her and kissed her forehead.

After that, I called on Moblit and we went to trost district where we isolated Pastor Nick.

Y/N's POV

I woke up and sat down for a moment until I noticed a letter that was left over my desk. I also remembered that I forgot to wait for Hange. I hope she's not mad or anything

My trance came in to halt as I reached for the letter that laid on my nightstand.

Dear Y/N

So I went to your room to inform you that I'll be out for a few hours because Erwin ordered me and moblit to go to trost where we left pastor Nick , As you may know the military police are after Eren, Historia and Pastor Nick. They have Eren and Historia in who knows where

I'll be back later at night or tomorrow morning , I want to remind you that your not allowed to go work yourself too hard , You aren't fully healed , Please take care of yourself while I'm not around. Don't forget to eat ok?

found my self smiling from her sweetness. I promise that when all of these are finish, Once we got Eren and Historia back , I'm gonna ask her formally to be my girlfriend

at first , I liked Hanji enough to only have sex with her , But now , I like her so much to say that I want to spend my whole life with her. I don't just like her , I think I L-

Erwin and Levi entered the door without even asking for consent , Thus making me come back to reality. "Hey" I mumbled without taking my eyes off the letter
"So How was your meeting?" I asked them while tapping the side of the bed , gesturing them to sit down

"Hanji and moblit went to Pastor Nick in trost, As for us , We're only waiting for their return to gather information" He said "How's your ankle and arm?" Levi asked "It's getting better" I replied as I slowly tried to lift my arm up and move my ankle.

"Ok ok, Your fine we get it, don't move it too much" Levi said as I chuckled from his panicking state "Hey Y/N" Erwin paused as I hummed in response "What's your relationship with Hanji? if you don't mind me asking"

"Well She's my soon to be girlfriend, Once we get Eren and Historia back , I'm gonna start courting her that is if she'd agree" I stated while fiddling my fingers "I'm sure she'll agree" Levi said while smiling "But don't tell her that alright?" I said as they both nodded

"And you too? what's your relationship with each other huh?" I mused as I made an failed attempt on wiggling my eyebrows "Well-Uh were-" but before Erwin could finish what he was saying Levi immediately cut him off "We need to get some work done" He stated as he grabbed my brother's wrist which obviously made him blush "Uh-huh, work" I sarcastically said

I watched them as they walked out of my room , I decided to go to the rooftop , disregarding what Hanji said. The sun was almost out and once again , I'm left with my thoughts.

I hope she's alright

My trance was interrupted when I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Hey Y/N" Rico said while smiling "Oh , Hi" I replied while tilting my head towards her direction. I saw Rico with her girlfriend with their fingers intertwined "Hey there you lovebirds" I teased as both of them blushed "So where's your girlfriend? I mean section commander Hanji?" Her girlfriend asked

"She went on a mission with Mobli-wait she's not my girlfriend...yet" I replied, Whispering the last part but much to my dismay , Rico heard it because she's closer to me "Uh-huh" both of them said in unison, Hands in their chins whilst nodding "Wha-" "Ask her to be your girlfriend" Rico immediately cut me off

"of course I'm gonna do that , but just not right now. We have a lot of problems in hand" I said "But If I'm going to, Will the two of you help me?" I asked while flashing them a smile "Of course!" Rico's girl said as she nodded "I'm counting on that" I said , My smile never fading

"How's your injuries?" Rico asked while examining my body "Well, They're healing faster than I thought it would, Hanji's been taking goof care of me" I said "Good to know that Y/N, we'll be going then" she said while wrapping her arms around her girlfriend's waist "Sure , see you around" I said while waving my uninjured arm as they slowly disappeared from my sight

While quietly enjoying the view , I got a glimpse of Hanji's horse as I heard it got closer. She tied her horse unto the gate as she looked up and Her eyes immediately landed on mine "Hanji!" I shouted as I waved my hand "Hey , Didn't I told you to rest" She shouted because of the distance between us "Well-" "I'm going there!" As she immediately ran towards the entrance
