Jaune P.O.V:

As the bullhead began near Vale, the guys were excited to finally see vale, while I saw in the corner thinking about our next move since we still need funds and a place to stay. Beacon could be one where we can stay for the moment but, we still need funds.

Guess we could maybe see if we can work for the vale council and hunt down the white fang along with high-value criminals such as Roman torch wick. But I was brought out of my thoughts as the bullhead finally landed, and we walked out.

"Damn, this is amazing," Rick said as he looked at the city and its people, especially the faunus.

"Yea, damn, there are actual people with animal ears and tails," Christian said while they admired the city.

"Yea, Yea, let's move it and find a motel we can stay for the moment," I ordered and, we began walking. After walking a while in the city, we managed to find a motel where we paid for two rooms for a few nights.

------Two days later----------

As we were driving in a car that we managed to rent, we rode around the city to get the guys to familiarize themselves with the city until we heard shots nearby. We decided to check them out and hurried towards the location where we came to a hotel that the white fang had taken over. Quickly putting on the gear that we had stored in the rental car for emergency we rushed to the aid of the police.

"Hey, we are here to help," I said to a police officer as we approached the command tent.

"Yea, and who are you?" One officer asked.

"Huntsmen, so what is the situation," I told the officer and having no choice but to trust us since the situation was dire, he told us what had happened. A group of sixteen white fang members have taken over the hotel. They are holding one hundred and twenty people hostage and had already executed five of the hostages.

"Understood, we will move into the hotel and rescue the hostages," I told the officer.

"Fuck, alright, you will be the first ones in since the swat team isn't here yet," The officer responded. I then ordered Christian to stay here since he didn't have a proper weapon. Then my team and I began to scout the area first before going to the hotel.

As we entered the hotel, we slowly cleared the first floor and managed to find ten hostages hiding. Swiftly, searching them before we sent them towards the police. After clearing the first floor, we went to the second one.

"Four terrorists ahead," I said and quickly pulled the trigger killing all four and luckily, they didn't have any aura unlocked. Then we made out way on the second floor, clearing every room and managing to kill two more terrorists and saving four more hostages.

As we moved from floor to floor, we managed to kill three terrorists and saved twelve more hostages that we escorted towards the command center. Then my team and I were going to go back in an officer yelled at us.

"Hey huntsmen," A officer yelled to me.

"Yea," I responded.

"Swat team is finally here y'all, are going to move in with them to clear the remaining hostages," He said and pointed to twelve swat members dressed in all black clothing with combat vests and assault rifles.

"Understood first five floors are already cleared," I told them and then walked back into the hotel to clear the last remaining seven floors. After two hours, we finally managed to secure the hotel and killed the remaining terrorist. As my team and I were walking out of the hotel with hostages couple of journalists managed to take photos of us in secret.

After walking with the police officers for a bit and giving them information on what happened in the hotel, they didn't bother to check if we had a huntsmen ID since the headmaster had already called ahead and confirmed their story.

But the police officers told us that we had bullhead waiting for us, which would take us to the beacon where the headmaster would be waiting for us. So quickly getting into our car and driving towards the landing pad then, entering the bullhead. We were off to meet Ozpin.

As the bullhead landed and we walked out, I managed to see the headmaster Ozpin and Glynda goodwitch.

"Well, didn't expect you to look like soldiers but without combat uniforms," Ozpin said as he drank his coffee since we were wearing t-shirts and pants.

"Yes, but who are you since you are not huntsmen but call yourself that," Glynda said as she examined us.

"Well, we had no other choice since the police wouldn't trust a regular civilian to head inside the hotel," I answered back, and Ozpin gave a hum in response.

"Good job, but I would like you to take off your helmets and the bandanas," Glynda order, and we slowly took off our helmets and half bandanas covering our faces. Ozpin and Glynda became surprised when they saw my face, and Glynda managed to show a tiny smile since her favourite student was back.

"Didn't expect to see you, Jaune, but I'm glad you are back," Ozpin answered.

"Same here, headmaster, but I don't think we will work as huntsmen," I answered, and Glynda became surprised that I didn't want to work as a huntsman.

"Alright, why don't we talk more at my office then?" Ozpin responded, and we followed him back to his office. Then after entering his office, my team and I took our seats in front of his desk.

"So, why don't you wanna become a huntsman?" Ozpin asked.

"Because I'm not fit for it, I got in her by faking my transcript, and I never managed to get stronger, and never felt like I belonged here. But then I became a soldier then I found out I was good at it. I finally could work at the same levels as others instead of being at the bottom all the time and never catching up to them," I told them as I found being a soldier much more enjoyable, even if it was hell during missions or patrols.

"Understood, but what about your teammates," Glynda questioned.

"We will follow our captain where ever he goes, so if he doesn't wanna become huntsmen, then we won't either," Aaron responded, and the others nodded.

"Alright, but what are you going to do next and what about your team here at beacon?" Ozpin responded looking, at me straight in the eye.

"While I miss my old team, they will probably be better off without me since I was slowing them down," I responded.

"You weren't, and they deeply care about you," Ozpin said.

"Yea, and about the plan next is something I wanna ask of you headmaster," I told him, and he raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, what is it?" He questioned.

"Can you set up a meeting with the council since I have an offer for them," I told him.

"I can but for what reason?"

"To take care of the white fang," I said.

"Alright, but you gotta come here from time to time to meet with your team and hang out with them and team RWBY," Ozpin told me, and I responded with a yes.

Then Ozpin offered us a room to stay in until the meeting with the council and, we accepted it since it was comfier than the motel we were staying in.

Done, and for those who are wondering about the hotel, the attack is based on real-life events. Where four terrorists took over a hotel in Nairobi, and one S.A.S soldier rushed in and rescued several hostages and killed two terrorists.

Also, the reason why Jaune is Glynda's favourite student is because he would always work as hard as he can.
