Slowly, I became who I should have been all along. Kind, but to an extent. Forgiving, but with limits. Approachable, but not discardable.

Soft, but strong.

I still had trouble sometimes. Sometimes my heart would beat rapidly around others the way it used to, and other times it wasn't my heart but my blood pressure that shot quickly in anger. Two sides of the coin. Two extremes.

Unbalanced.

But I had learned how to make the seesaw teeter less and less. I had learned how to make it stop leaning heavily to one side as well as stop crazily shifting up and down, up and down.

Now it had stopped switching sides rapidly. It stayed straight, and occasionally it would sway up and down, but other than that it remained constant.

Eventually, my seesaw finally balanced.
