Widowed at twenty-six, Kayal chooses silence over the world. But silence does not protect a woman who lives alone. Rumours follow her. Fear finds her doorstep. And dignity becomes something she must fight to keep. Kamal has already lost once. Detached, guarded, and unwilling to love again, he believes distance is the safest choice. When circumstances force them into a hurried marriage, it is not love that binds them- but necessity. Two broken souls. One unwanted union. And a story where healing begins long before love.

In a city that turns its back on them, a rebellious loner gets tangled up with a quiet, sharp-tongued outcast. They sneak off to abandoned buildings and overgrown greenhouses, finding something that feels like love, but not the kind people talk about. It's messy, a little reckless, maybe even dangerous. Little did they know, every second spent together left a permanent imprint in their souls. Like always. Like forever.

"Some people don't fall in love. They fall into control and call it care." Arhaan never believed in love. He believed in distance, in leaving before attachment could bruise him. He collected smiles, not promises. He let people love him.. but never learned how to love back. Kishu only wanted peace. A quiet heart. A safe place to breathe. But peace doesn't survive where guilt lives. When Vish tells her he is dying, her world doesn't shatter.. it shrinks. Into phone calls, tears, promises, and the weight of "you're the only one I have." "Manipulation is not loud. It whispers, cries, and begs to be believed." Vish doesn't cage her with anger. He cages her with concern. With lies dressed as fear. With love that demands isolation. And then there is Arhaan. He enters her life quietly.. through unread messages, through deleted replies, through a smile he doesn't understand himself. "Sometimes love doesn't arrive with butterflies. Sometimes it arrives with hesitation." Arhaan changes before he realizes he is changing. Kishu doubts before she realizes she is drowning. Between them lies silence, misunderstanding, and a third heart pulling strings from the shadows. This is not a story about perfect love. It is a story about choosing someone while unlearning fear, about saving someone without becoming their savior, and about finding light in a place designed to break you. "Not all villains raise their voice. Some just hold your hand and never let go."

The Broken Promises "You Broke Our Promise Just For Her" Ieris Cristina Ianz is a brilliant cardiologist who believes she understands the human heart better than love itself. Calm, controlled, and emotionally guarded, she entrusts her future to Ethan William Jonas, a respected senior cardiologist whose devotion feels intense, private, and consuming. To the world, Ethan is admirable and dependable. To Ieris, he is something else entirely. Possessive beneath his composure. Obsessive behind his gentleness. A man who demands loyalty while quietly seeking validation from another woman. When Ethan moves to London for a prestigious medical opportunity, distance exposes the truth Ieris had long sensed but refused to name. His betrayal is not impulsive. It is calculated, justified, and cruelly rationalized. Years later, fate forces them back into the same city, the same profession, and ultimately, the same emergency room. When Ethan suffers a fatal heart attack, Ieris becomes the doctor responsible for saving the man who once broke her. As seconds determine life or death, Ieris must confront a devastating question: Can love survive betrayal, or does survival sometimes mean letting go? The Broken Promises is a dark, tragic romance about emotional manipulation, obsession disguised as love, and the irreversible consequences of broken vows-where the heart's final failure is not always the most painful one. The wizarding world believed it knew magic. They were wrong. Hidden beyond spells and wands exists another world - one ruled by gods, monsters, and children forced to survive impossible trials every day. A world Hogwarts was never meant to see. Until it is shown. As memories unfold, witches and wizards learn that some of their own belong to that world: demigods who lived, fought, and bled in silence. And among them stands Severus Snape - son of Hephaestus, forged by fire and survival. But the greatest shock is not the gods. It's the boy who stood beside him. Percy Jackson, hero of another world, who chose Severus Snape - not as a weapon, not as a tragedy, but as someone worth loving. Once the truth is revealed, history has nowhere left to hide.

My name is Minerva, but at fifteen, I was just a butterfly. I lived in Genoa, in the heart of Liguria, Northern Italy, surrounded by the scent of fresh focaccia and dreams shared at the back of the classroom with my friend Monica. I believed that good always triumphed, that friendship was a sacred pact, and that the future was an empty horizon as clear as the sea in my city. Then, a move changed everything. I was uprooted and taken to the Riviera di Levante, to a small village in the province of Genoa. I was thrust into Poggio Ulivo, a tiny world made of curious stares, closed minds, and tribal dynamics. That is where I entered the labyrinth. This is not a coming-of-age story, but the chronicle of a disappearance. It is the tale of how three years of high school can turn into a silent nightmare of exclusion, fierce competition, and subtle manipulation. At the center of it all is Jasmine: the childhood friend who, instead of being a guiding thread, became the architect of my prison. At forty, I look back at the invisible scars that psychological bullying left on my skin. I write to give a voice to that girl who could no longer recognize herself in the mirror, dimmed by cruelties that the adult world often dismisses as "just girl stuff". I tell my truth because, even if the good guys don't always win and evil can be incredibly mundane, reclaiming one's own story is the only way to fly out of the labyrinth once again.

Fia Olaf has been told her entire life that Count Olaf is difficult because he cares. That cruelty is simply honesty, and that obedience is the price of survival. As his presumed daughter, she learns early how to stand in the right place, say the correct lines, and disappear when necessary. When the Baudelaire orphans arrive, Fia begins to notice the cracks in Olaf's performance-moments where love looks too much like control, and protection feels suspiciously like imprisonment. Exposure to kinder guardians reveals a dangerous truth: not all adults rule through fear. As Olaf's schemes escalate, so does Fia's quiet resistance. Small acts of defiance, subtle warnings, and unspoken choices mark the beginning of her awakening. But rebellion carries consequences, and Olaf is quick to remind her that captivity can be disguised as care. The Lie That Looked Like Love follows a child learning that survival does not require belief-and that recognizing cruelty is the first step toward escape.

In 2016, Eliot and Mariana enter a castle where love is not forbidden- it is feared. Bound by a quiet marriage, they are expected to obey, to stay invisible, to feel nothing. But Eliot believes strength exists to protect, not to dominate. And Mariana refuses to become a shadow in a house built on silence. Their presence begins to crack a powerful family ruled by control rather than affection- a system that treats love as a weakness that must be erased. In a place where souls are broken gently and punishment comes without noise, even tenderness is an act of rebellion. Even holding hands becomes dangerous. The harder they are pushed apart, the closer everything moves toward collapse. Because in a castle that fears love, loving might be the most dangerous thing of all.

"The devil couldn't reach me," I said. But he was already wearing the face of someone I once called love. â€ĸâ€ĸâ€ĸ They say the devil lives in temptation, but I found him living in my memory, echoing in the voice that told me to stay when I should have run. He wasn't the monster of legends. He was just a quiet, mysterious man who perfectly reflected every fear and every wound I carried inside. This is the raw confession of a girl who thought she escaped hell, only to realize the final battle had to happen within her own skin, proving that true damnation doesn't come from below, but from within.

He had just wanted to get a good rest, now that he had solved their issue with the Dopant, but questions wondering why it was that Shoutarou would hit him continued to plague his mind. Chief had insisted that he go and help Shoutarou, whether the other wanted it or not. Philip knew that was true, but he also was not sure he was in quite the right frame of mind to see him, which of course did not matter, considering he was shoved into the stupid Ghostmobile anyways. But...whatever happened it was not Shoutarou who was staring up at him after he had fainted, aiding Shoutarou despite his wishes. It was someone different. He had no idea who this person was, and upon realizing that they themselves were made up of a similar material to the Gia memories, Philip was not sure what to do...it was obvious that this was not the same world, but...he could still access the library, yet, all the books and shelves were different now, filled with different knowledge and different lore. How was he supposed to get back...and did he really even want to? Especially since his Fang subsitute seemed to have and even worse situation than Shoutarou. Even if Shoutarou could not save himself, perhaps he could help his substitute.

THE SHAPE OF STAYING is a psychological marriage thriller about control disguised as love-and the quiet power it takes to reclaim yourself. Clementine Thompson believed she had married safety. Her husband, Thompson, is calm, meticulous, and quietly powerful. Their life is orderly, successful, and private-everything a marriage should look like from the outside. But when Clementine discovers evidence that her husband has been monitoring her life and leveraging her family for professional gain, she realizes her marriage was never a refuge. It was a structure designed to contain her. As Clementine leaves, the danger does not announce itself with violence or rage. Instead, it watches. Calculates. Waits. What follows is not a story of escape through chaos, but a psychological reckoning-one where silence is weaponized, devotion is redefined, and love becomes something that must be unlearned before it can be chosen again. When Clementine begins a new relationship with a man who neither rescues nor controls her, she faces an unexpected challenge: how to love without surrendering herself. As her husband's carefully constructed world begins to collapse, Clementine must decide what forgiveness really means-and whether independence and intimacy can exist together. THE SHAPE OF STAYING is a restrained, emotionally powerful novel about emotional coercion, marriage, and the courage it takes to stay-this time, by choice.
