"Ight, I'll be back as soon as I can," moving around the colossal you made your way out the door and just started running in the halls.
Now in school, there are rules such as no running in the halls and all that.
Everyone thinks they are dumb because, well, what's the worse that can happen.
Someone can end up with broken legs, that's what.
Then again you were also running down the stairs.
"AHHHHHH!!!"
"HOLY SHIT! I'M SoRRy!"
"WhY WERE YOU RuNNING?!"
It was a mess.
A blond twink cried on the floor as he held two broken legs.
You're crying because, uh, who knows. You just felt bad for breaking this dude's leg and for being yelled at.
Pony-boy was yelling at you for running down the stairs and making him drop Armin.
Then there was Annie who was just watching the mess unfold.
"Why were his legs even broken to begin with?" you asked Jean.
He simply scoffed and corrected you, "it was only one. You broke the other."
"And why were guys even down here?"
Looking away and crossing his arms he avoided your question. However, it would be the crying twink on the floor that answered the question. Indirectly of course.
"I'm sorry Jean, but I just can't steal."
So he was trying to steal something. The only thing down here is the officer's pantry, which is full of meat. Makes sense. Man's got no talent so beef is probably what would make him win.
"So that's where the key went then," stretching your hand out in front of Jean as you waited for him to hand over the key. He simply frowned and avoided eye contact. "Jeanie, I love you and all but c'mon. Just hand over the damn key."
His face was flushed as he dropped the keys onto your hand, "whatever, didn't need that stupid beef to win anyway."
It was a little weird after that. You told them to scram and to get Armin fixed up. Or to try, doubtful that his legs will heal like magic. But then again you are in this stupid world so maybe they will. However, this time. Instead of it being Jean taking Arlert up the stairs it was Annie. Probably the best decision. Unlikely that she'll drop him. If she did he wouldn't be able to break another leg.
Unless that third one counts, actually no.
No bones, so it can't.
"That was a strange interaction," you mumbled before unlocking the pantry. There were a couple of cuts. Ranging from parts like the flank, round, loin. Oddly enough there were more popular and expensive cuts on the table. A prime example being T-bone steak. Of course, by removing the bone and keeping that nice big piece of meat is much better. Or at least you have been told. You really aren't an expert in meat. Nonetheless, you believe the commanders will like it.
At least your dad would.
You took back nine cuts. This was your step into somewhat also competing in this silly little cook-off.
Upon arriving back to the kitchen both you and Bertolto started working on the meals for the commanders and the other members who tagged along to see the cadets. You wondered what they were doing. Probably judging the newbies.
In the midst of cooking at what could be a bad attempt at a five-star steak, Bertholt spoke up.
"Could you help me with something?" He looked down at you, "will you help me be more assertive?"
