Chapter 5 Annoying Much

Nysa's POV

"I swear if he opens his mouth again-" I hissed as I glared his way.

"You will kiss him!" Jade smirked as I slapped her back.

It had been only the start of the day and Ryan had already started annoying me. Mr Carson as well seemed irritated by his usual remarks.

"My lovely children, do not lose the script you have with you, unlike some people I know-" he glanced his way with an annoyed look as I stiffled a laugh.

"Sir Nysa took mine, tell her to give it back!" Ryan pointed my way as I gave him my most deadliest glare that I could pull off.

"What is wrong with you? Do you need some sort of mental help?" I sneered as Derek cheered from the back.

"Husband-wife issues!" Chase yelled as I found myself throwing a paper ball at him, which accidentally hit Ryan.

"Sir look, she is doing physical abuse to me!" He immediately looked at Mr Carson who was struggling to keep the chaos down.

"It wasn't meant for you, I'd rather throw a rock at you!" I snapped as Jade began her loud laugh.

Annoyed to the core, I ignored everyone and burried my head in the book before me. Mr Carson finally managed to get back everyones attention back to the lecture, while Jade still struggled to consume her laugh while Chase kept humming an annoying song he made about Ryan and me.

It took me so much patience and self meditation to keep myself from choking Ryan the entire half of the day. As lunch had already begun, I was the first to leave the class to escape from his annoying ass.

"Hey wait up!" Jade ran after me with her bag flying in hand as I looked at her. "Gosh girl you seem annoyed," she laughed as I let out a deep sigh.

Our usual bench was taken by a bunch of junior kids as Jade gave an annoyed growl.

"Everytime when we are late!" She hissed.

"Let's go find another place," I said as we walked down the tree line and spotted Chase and Ryan.

"They have space," she looked at me as I gave her a poker face. "Oh come on Nysa, we just need to eat," she begged as I rolled my eyes.

"Ryan and Nysa sittin' on a tree-" Chase immediately began his song as he saw us approaching them.

"You open your mouth again and I'll make sure I write the best eulogy for your funeral!" I grit my teeth as he quickly gets silent.

"Abuser!" Ryan mumbled as I glared at him.

"Not my fault you get easily injured by a paper ball, princess," I scoffed as he gave his annoying grin.

"Okay enough guys, I want to eat!" Jade took her place beside Ryan as I sat beside Chase. Soon, Derek also joined us as we all began eating, while the boys and of course Jade, discussed about a certain game for the weekend.

"Nysa, won't you tag along?" Derek looked at me as I gave him an apologetic smile.

"I can't, I have to look after April this weekend, her parents will be going out for a business party," I said as Jade nodded.

As we got back at our food, I felt a pair of eyes on me. I looked up and met his eyes. They refused to look away. I could feel my suppressed emotions and feelings rising as my heart began to beat in a slow rhythm.

"Nysa, you okay?" I quickly broke the eye contact, as I nodded, hoping nobody witnessed this moment.

As the lunch period was nearing its end, we slowly began making our move back to our room. Jade surprisingly walked fast, a little ahead of me, as Chase and Derek strolled while talking about the game. Ryan was on pace with me, but at a little distance between us.

"Who is April?" He asked suddenly catching my wandering attention.

"My neighbor's daughter, I babysit her, why?" I looked at him, a very small smile forming at my lips.

"No because I thought-" he fell silent as I frowned.

"What?" I felt a strange laugh coming from within me.

"I thought you've lost your mind for babysitting a month in calender!" He laughed out as I felt my blood boil within me.

"Ryan fuck you!" I cussed loudly as I slapped his shoulder as he laughed and quickened his pace from mine. "I swear I will frickin' kick your dumb ass!" I yelled after him as Derek quickly held on me. "You're so annoying!" I hissed, mentally slapping myself for having feelings for him.
