Chapter 13

"Is he?" The baby faced one asks the other two. I guess she isn't part of the group.

" We don't know. Maybe. I mean, Jess has tons of 'acquaintances' she doesn't tell us about." Says the one with the tanned skin as she takes a sip of her soda.

I guess Jessica is not here! Good!

" So what do you want from us?" Asks the redhead.

" I'm looking for Jessica. Is she around?" I pretend to look here and there in search for her.

They all look at each other in silence.

" Should I tell him?" The tanned one says.

" No, Luna! Why would you?" Snarls the redhead.

" Oh come on! It's later gonna be in the news anyway so it doesn't matter who knows. So chill out Ash!" ' Luna' says.

Ash or whatever her name may be rolls her eyes and looks away.

" So listen! I'm telling you this mainly cause you look cute. The thing is Jessica is missing! I went over to her house yesterday to return some stuff she lent me and I saw police outside her house talking to her dad on the door.I overheard a little. Don't know the details except for the fact that she's missing. So, you won't be seeing her for awhile." She says with a smirk.

"Oh, I see" I say. Really now? So this Jessica person is missing. Is this related to Morgan too? I bet the police will think that. But this time...why did she kidnap and not straight up murder them like usual? Is she changing her way or is this totally unrelated? I'll need to get the information about this case from the police station.

" Hey, what's taking Helen so long. I'm getting tired of waiting." Ash whines.

" She said she had something important to do and told us to wait by the vending machine." The baby faced one says.

"Ugh! She better not be fixing her make up again. She takes hours! " Ash groans and sips her can of iced coffee.

" Well, Thank you for filling me in on what happened. Now I'll- " I'm Suddenly cut off by a scream coming from inside the school. After that, a few more screams can be heard and now the students outside the school start to go back in to see what happened.

"What the heck was that!?" Luna says, shocked.

As these girls also start to walk towards the school, I follow them.

I run ahead of them inside the school as I begin to get a bad feeling about this. A large crowd has formed near the entrance of the school building. Loud noises all around.

" I can't believe it!"

"Did you see it!? She just fell! Tell me you saw that!"

"It's so horrible! This is gonna haunt me at night."

" Isn't that Helen? From Will's class?"

" Everyone! Stay back! I repeat! DO NOT GET CLOSE!"

" I was literally just standing there when I saw this body falling down the building"

Pushing through the crowd, I finally reach the front. Teachers telling the students to stay back and don't come near it.

There lies a body of a girl wearing a bloody white dress in a crooked position surrounded by her own blood. She isn't moving and seems so lifeless. From what I heard so far, she fall off the building. So, suicide? Or maybe...what if...

I run past the teacher towards the body.

" Hey you! Get back here!" He yells but I ignore him. He tries to come to me but then gets occupied with keeping the crowd back.

Standing infront of the body I tug my jacket collar over my nose to avoid the smell. Yup, this poor girl definitely looks dead. I see broken bones, busted head and no sign of life.

I kneel down and look around for something to touch with so I don't get my fingerprints anywhere. Settling on a stone, I use it to get a better look at her neck and collar bone by pushing her bloody shirt collar a bit down.

There it is. A pair of angel wings.

I look up at the roof of the building. I don't know if I imagined it or not but I saw something move.

" HELEN!!!" I hear a familiar voice. It's that Ash girl. In shock and tears. I see, so this is Helen.

" Kid! Weren't you listening! Back off from the body right now." A teacher shouts as he drags me up by my jacket.

I shrug him off and run as fast as I could towards the building pushing past the crowd.

Is it Morgan!? Is she here!?

Entering the builing, I hurriedly look for the stairs. There are still some students inside the school looking out the window at the scene.

After finding it I run up as fast as I could. Hurry! I gotta be quick!

After reaching the second floor, I accidentally bump in to someone and knock them down.

" I am so sorry about this! I'm in a hurry" I quickly pull her up and leave her standing as I continue to run up.

" It's ok!" I hear her yell.

Finally reaching the roof, I slam open the door.

As I pant heavily trying to catch my breath, I look around the roof. Theres no one. No Morgan in sight.

" Damn it!" I yell as I kick the railing.

From a distance, I could hear the police sirens. There here. I look towards the road and see the police cars at the traffic signal. Guess one of the teachers noticed the signature and understood the situation. Time to go now and leave everything in to the 'capable' hands of my big brother.

As I walk out the school gates, blending in the crowd so my brother and his team who just got out of the car and is heading towards the crime scene doesn't notice me.

There is more to this case than what meets the eye. If it's not Morgan, which according to the evidence isn't the case, then someones out there desperately trying to frame her or get her harmed. And if it IS Morgan, which according to all the victims so far, then she is taking out everyone who every did her wrong.

Overall, no matter what's the case, one thing is clear to me.

This is a revenge game.
