If I can mend a broken heart,
I see no reason to give up on love.
If I can keep at bay the tears that threaten to fall,
Then there is no reason for me to leave.
If I can bring a smile to someone's face,
I have no reason to give up hope.
If there is still someone who needs my help,
I see no reason to give into the pain.
If I can offer endless amounts of love and care,
What is the reason I can't love myself?
