"Good Morning you gorgeous lot!" Pansy beamed, taking a seat next to the others at breakfast

"How are you always so upbeat?" Ron asked shovelling bacon onto his plate

"We have two days left of school and exams are over! How are you not upbeat?"

"and there's the 8th year party tonight" Blaise chimed in "Seamus promised firewhiskey shots, it's gonna be mental"

"I hope not as bad as last time" Hermione moaned, sipping her tea

"Morning all!" Harry called as he walked into the hall alongside Draco, close enough that the others knew they'd been holding hands and had broken apart at the sight of other students. Both still had scruffy hair and their ties askew, clearly rushed from a morning spent primarily in bed.

They both sat down still looking into each others eyes and smiling, Harry grabbed two slices of toast and placed them on the plates in front of them, casting a wandless spell where they began buttering themselves. Draco poured two cups of coffee, sipping one and sliding the other in front of Harry where he picked it up smiling warmly at him

Draco desperately wanted to lean in and kiss his boyfriend but restrained himself, Harry recognised the look in his eye and winked back at him

"Ugh, you two need to take a day off" Ron groaned

"I think they're cute" Pansy argued, using her wand to magically refill her tea

"They're so happy, Ron" Hermione added

"We're happy, 'Mione but you don't see me clinging to you with doughy eyes every day" Ron moaned

Hermione huffed and shook her head but caught sight of Harry smirking

"Relax, Ron's just jealous because both boyfriends in this relationship are drop-dead gorgeous" Harry teased

"Hey I have my good days, alright? I'm not making an effort for you shabby lot" Ron bit back

"Actually Harry, he's miffed because he thought he would only have two more days of Malfoy by now until you changed things" Blaise chuckled

"Now I have to see this bloody ferret wherever I go!" Ron cut in. He loved throwing digs at Draco and luckily for him, Harry knew deep down it was all in jest. They exchanged a smile and Ron rolled his eyes still unsure on how he'd come to welcome Draco into his life knowing his past-self would be screaming at him by now

Hermione tucked her hair behind her ears and turned solely to Ron "I do hope you're in better spirits this evening, Ronald"

"Of course! I'm only messing, alright? Tonight will be a laugh, no more exams, summer is two days away and Seamus taught me the spell for refillable firewhiskey shots!" he grinned

The others broke into cheers and laughter, feeling the buzz of excitement for their last few days at school while Hermione groaned quietly into her hands "That'll end well..."

Later that afternoon, upon entering the Harry's bedroom, the two boys noticed an object placed on the end of Harry's bed. It was a red heart-shaped box with the word 'chocolate treats' elegantly written in gold lettering across the lid. It had been wrapped with a bow and a small card sat beside it with a hand written note inside

"Awwww you're so sweet, Draco! You got me chocolates!" Harry beamed, picking up the box for a close look. He turned over the note and read it out loud

"Harry,

Loved our time together last night, looking forward to seeing you again soon
