Meera's POV
I saw Nyla going off my porch, what the hell was she doing here?
She gave me her slutty flying kiss as if mocking me for something.
I was already broken from what happened with me an hour ago and now her headache.
I don't even know who is lying to me or telling me the truth.
Everything seems like an illusion...as if I wake up next morning and it's was all a bad dream.
But I am part of that dream.
Bad is happening with me.
And clearly like dreams I can't control my destiny.
I don't want anything bad to happen with Arjun. He has already a lot in his plate.
Arjun is the only person left with me who genuinely loves me.
I grabbed my things and locked the car.
He opened the door with his contagious smile...one good thing in this whole day to make me relief.
His smile withered as he saw my swollen red eyes.
Should I tell him?
First I need to be sure for whatever that Verma says.
Maybe I shouldn't say anything now.
"Were you crying? What happened? Who hurt you!"
He shot he me with all his questions while examining me delicately.
"I'm fine Arjun. Just had a bit cold, that's it."
I gave him a weak smile. I guess he bought that, didn't he.
"Lemmee see."
He got me in carefully in the couch and started analysing me.
"You're a bit hot."
He announced, I remember how crying raised my body temperature.
I know he can just read me like an open book, but I really need some pages to myself.
He carresed my cheek and said in a low voice.
"What's wrong Meera?"
His eyes are pleading me to tell him everything, but my heart has made a barrier on his effect.
"You tell me , what was Nyla doing here?"
I tried to change the topic.
It's not like he's cheating on me or anything!
Is he?
"She came here to blabber her useless shit only. Turns out she is leaving Neev."
"What!"
That's like a bit of music to my ears.
But it means...
"That clearly means Neev will be out from the CEO competition. Arjun, you'll become the CEO just like that."
"Yeah!"
He gave me his victorious smile.
"Unless...she has some another motive...."
I whispered lowly.
"Meera don't use that geek brain of yours. Nyla is an idoit, what can she do..."
