Chapter 39| Cute moments

Angali:"rahul we should head to bed we have to get up at 4 tomorrow. And Sid are you keeping the fast"

Sid:"Ofcourse Mom"

Ahana:"Sid and fast?"

Angali:"Yes Ahana. Rahul And Rohan have been fasting with us since they got married. Sid wants to follow this."

Ahana:( in her mind)" So does that mean even Neil will...no no Ahana don't think about that. Sid, Dad, And bhai do it because they love their wifes. Neil and Me aren't at the stage yet. Why would he keep the fast for me. Ahana just stop thinking about all this"

Angali and Rahul left for bed. Rohan and Sid sat in the hall discussing something while Preeti, Shruti and Ahana left for Ahana and Neil's room as Neil was still in the kids room. Shruti and Preeti sat on the bed as Ahana folded few cloths while talking to them.

Preeti:"No Bhabhi it's there critical years of schools, we should let them focus. If they want a trip or something let's go during the holidays."

Shruti:"I also said the same to Rohan. I think he is just tried of office work and wants a break"

Ahana:"A family holiday trip does sound amazing. We should definitely plan during the kids holidays."

Preeti:"Bhabhi in few months it will be one year till your and Neil bhaiya's wedding. "

Ahana:"So much as changed in these months. I could have never imagined we would be here today."(She said staring at his shirt in her hands)

Shruti:"I still remember how rude and arrogant Neil used to act before you came in his life. You truly brought our old Neil back"

Preeti:"Yeah He would give that stern face"(She said trying to mimick his face)

Ahana:"No no no wait. It was like this"

She wore his shirt over her saari and took his sunglasses from the table putting it on. Giving a stern face she started to  mimick  him.

Ahana:(Mimicking Neil)"I want this deal for the kids only. We will just live as Our kids parents. (taking out a fake cell phone)"Sid can you handle my meeting today. I have urgent work."

She kept mimicking him as Preeti and Shruti laughed at her acting. But neither of them knew that a spectator was standing at the door listening to all this. Neil. Neil leaned against the wall as a smiled stayed on his face as he listened to his wife mimick him. He found it cute how she changed her face expressions and used hand gestures to mimick him.

Ahana:"Oh and the most famous look. (She folded her arms and look at them sternly)" this was his 24/7 look. Except for the kids everyone recived this look only."

Preeti:"not gonna lie when I first met bhai I was also scared because Rohan Bhaiya gave a smile but Neil Bhai just had a stern face"

Shruti:"But I don't think Ahana was scared of him when she first met him. Don't you remember how she yelled at him few days after the wedding was fixed"

Ahana:(Bit her lips remembering the day that she took the kids to the movies and Neil got worried and angry and yelled at her causing her to yell back)"I..well to be honest I was scared as first but at that point in life I was so broken to even care about all this. Also I saw how he was so different with the kids which made me think that he was always hiding his real self. Maybe I wasn't scared because I understood his actions.  Maybe because I was in the same situation as him at the time."

Shruti:"And that's why you both were perfect for each other"

Ahana:"Yeah but not gonna lie he was a little bit too arrogant at the time. I like this Neil better. Not the ( mimicking him with a stern voice)" Sid do this..."
