I quickly dialed Logan's number and he answered on the first ring

"What is everything alright?" I asked frantically

"Yea everything is fine. Do you have plans today? No? Okay well will you come with me to a jewelry store?" He asked

"Logan" I said plainly

"Yes?" He asked

"You told me this was life or death" I said

"This is life or death" he answered

"How is going to a jewelry store life or death?" I asked

"Because I'm going to pick a ring out for Carmen" he said calmly

"So will you come with me or not?" He asked

"Of course I'll come with you. I need at least an hour to get ready" I said
